Tom is the 3rd best of all time glad he gone I really wanted him to get hurt

All passing records, Individual playoff records, The greatest comeback in NFL history on the biggest stage,7 FREAKING RINGS and 10 super bowls..No physical talent just the ultimate desire to be great and his work ethic is legendary. He has plenty of physical talent. That's just nonsense to say.

It’s so bitter sweet to watch him walk away . I feel like we won’t ever see quarterbacks play like him , manning, rivers, Bree’s, Big Ben . Tom was the last player left since I started watching football in 2002 . My childhood has officially passed me by 😢 ENJOY YOUR LIFE GOAT 🐐

When he won his 5th ring (SB 51), against impossible odds, down 28-3…in that game he brought the game of football to an artistic level, it was poetry and there was no doubt he was the greatest of all time. And there was much more to come.
I always wanted the Falcons to win the Super Bowl but almost had it and then lost in a OT Comback

I was lucky to go down to Tampa and see him this season. They lost to the Baltimore but I was just so excited to see him.
I got too see his last ever regular season game, in Atlanta against my team. I made sure I was there to see a legend go. Respect to him in his career.
I remember being so sad last year when he announced his retirement. Sad that I never got to see him play. When he came back, thats when I knew I might not get another chance. So I did all I could and drove down to Dallas to see him play. Seeing him live in person was so surreal. Happy you all got to see him too!

I’m a Brady fan and a lifelong Bucs fan! He brought so much joy to me and now I feel something I’ve never felt when an athlete retires. I actually teared up when I heard the news. He embodies everything an athlete should be. I remember at a SB party I was the only one to pick NE when he won his first ring and I’ve followed him ever since! I’m so lucky to have gone to the Carolina game where he hit Mike Evans on three deep TD passes! I wish TB the best but it’s a sad day for me although I look forward to following TB no matter what journey lies ahead!
I've been following him since 01 but became a true fan in 02/03. Fortunate enough to see him play 3 times in my lifetime and he won all 3 of those games. I'll miss him beyond belief.
I was also at the Carolina game on New Years Day! Such an awesome display of Tom's seasoned greatness, the one and only time I got to witness it in person. For me, it made for an epic sendoff. Wishing him the best in his future endeavors!
Although I'm not a TB12 fan during match up seasonal games,... i got to give it to him. He is truly a GOAT. He is a good QB. A legend to remember. He will be missed.

I am Australian and we are as insane about our brand of football as you guys are. And winning a flag is a BIG deal to us too. I can't imagine my team winning 7 flags in 20 years. We won 3 in the 80s in our glory days, 1 in the 90s, and haven't won a flag since. So good luck and God Bless to pats fans. It must have really been something!
No one will ever catch Brady as the goat. It is so mind boggling how he was able to achieve so much and play for as long as he did. Idk if he’s really done, but if so it was amazing to watch the second half of his career play out. GOAT
Tom Brady's retirement is finally the end of an incredible era. I remember watching Tom Brady in my very first football game: Superbowl 38 in which the Patriots defeated the Carolina Panthers. It was an amazing game. I am glad to have witnessed the careers of amazing QBs from this era. From Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger, Philip Rivers, Eli Manning, Michael Vick, Donovan McNabb etc. Thank you, Tom! Good luck in retirement.
nobody is going to talk about his last season. They'll talk about the absolute annihilation of the record book. 🐐
His last season wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t championship caliber
Only the haters will.
Exactly.
The last season narrative isn’t considered by anybody except for the media when a player is nearing the end of their legendary career. Sure every player would love to leave on top but hardly any ever do. Most every HOF QB were a shell of themself in their final year because most all of them stick around until their body forces them to walk away. Even guys like Elway or Manning who left with s Super Bowl weren’t anywhere near their best those final years. And guess what? We never diminish their career because their last year wasn’t what they always were. Because everyone understands the body fails eventually.
The reason they return instead of walking away is easy to see: they’re competitors and they don’t want to walk until they can’t do it anymore. Alpha competitors like Tom would rather stay a year too long and confirm they’re done rather than step away at their prime and always wonder how much more they had if theyd stuck around. I don’t think we as fans totally grasp that aspect of things because it just seems so cool to have that storybook ending by going out on top.
I think an example of this mentality was Michael Jordan on the last dance documentary. The interviewer asked him if he was happy to leave at the top of his game and Michael said he hated walking away like that. A competitor like that wants to keep going until they can’t anymore and leaving at their prime leaves them with the forever what if had they stuck around for a little longer. Tom came back after that superbowl because they were primed to do it again and a competitor wants to go for it. He’s leaving now because doing that again doesn’t seem possible for him and so he’s content to walk knowing he isn’t missing a chance for another championship. But if TB had been close again this year or win this year I think he’d be back again. But with the state they’re in now and the rebuild they’d need I think he walked. Jordan was the same way when he left the Bulls.
Jordan left because of how Krause dismantled the team like he did. Jordan said himself that had the Bulls left things in place to try for another championship he’d have come back for another year to try for the title. But he wasn’t willing to come back under a full rebuild process where all the championship pieces were gone. The same thing is happening here. Sure it would be cool to have walked on top but a competitor like that never would have. It’s why Brett came back to the Vikings after they came so close to the superbowl. When they see a chance to win they’ll stay but when it’s clear the window has passed or their ability to play at that level is gone it’s finally time to walk. And that doesn’t change a thing about how we appreciate all they did leading up to that.
What’s crazy is his worst season ever in over 20 years was still a division championship. And only 2 years did he ever not win the division. He only missed the playoffs once& he one the super bowl the 2nd time he didn’t win his division. Let that sink in!
Glad I got to go to his last game. Even though that game didn’t go how I wanted, I got to witness his greatness live in other games. NFL won’t ever be the same.
He's the 🐐 but the NFL will b the same starting Feb 12.. bet on that ..
I got to see him break his 100 thousand passing yards in person against the Rams in November. Awesome game and glad I got to see him before he retired
No one plays at that level for that long. He's one of a kind.
He has been a huge source of inspiration for me. I'll miss watching him play so much. Thank you Tom

You must mean other than the Packers with 13, the Bears with 9, the Giants with 8 and the Browns with 8....gotta give credit where credit's due. Tom Brady is and will go down as the best quarterback in the history of football. I feel that people cannot even begin to understand what it took for what he has done. It takes a lot to discipline yourself to do any job, but for this long and at the level he played. I also believe that he gave to his family too. It was not all one sided ....that Gisele did it all. I believe that he really tried to do both. It takes a lot to play his level and even this year he stood out over many teams and players half his age and dealing with so much. So I give cudos to Tom Brady and his accomplishments. Now remember you can gain the whole world , but lose your soul to the world. Look to the Lord who has been with you the whole way. Go Tom Brady with Him. You will win the biggest win in your life. He will see you through to the end. Because if you do win the whole world and do not accept Him, you have not won the biggest prize, eternal life. Thanks for all your sacrifices and I wish all good thins for you. I will never forget the Super Bowl where you made 4 touch downs in 8 minutes and this year a touch down in 45 seconds. To the best ever.
Well said I 100% agree!!
Yeah, I hate how we forgot his historic career. Colin loved Brady, and now he is singing maholmes as the goat. Malhomes is great, and maybe by the end of his career he can complete with brady but 7 superbowls. Making it to 10 and played well enough to put his team in position to win all 10. He came back against Seahawks and falcons. He had a defensive minded coach who liked to play safe over putting up numbers. Yet, he still put up the numbers. Sharpest guy to play the sport. Every QB has bad moments. Brady played in the real NFL where QB's got crushed and in the modern Era. He had less weapons then malhomes and didn't have Andy Reid style of offense.
Wow, to Shannon Sharp...

One day it just clicked and I said wow, I'm witnessing greatness. Even when he kicked my ravens out of the playoffs in a tough game we really should have won.
He's the GOAT.
This is skip worst day he finna cry in the car 😂😂😂😂
Happy white history month 🚬😌
The end of an era ❤
Shannon BLM Sharpe is so jealous of the white goat 🚬🤔

What an unbelievable career, an incredible ride that I had the honor and privilege of witnessing since the day he was drafted. There will never be another like him. I'll miss that competitive nature, that drive and determination to will his team to victories. Tom Brady is HIM. The greatest to ever do it at his position. Happy Retirement Tom 🐐🐐🐐
Thank you Tom Brady for the memories. From beating the Greatest Show on Turf, the Manning-Brady rivalry, Winning 7 Super Bowls, 3 MVPS, and being the best QB since Montana.
Even though he did frustrate me as a kid when he beats my team but he was fun to watch. Without him, Rodgers, Rivers, Big Ben, and the Manning Bros I would’ve never watched and got into football. Good luck on the NFL ON FOX
Sad to see my favorite qb go man
You will miss the god with the rod 🚬😥
@@goodnightmunchie Bruh, do you have a life other than hatin'?? I've seen you post comments in several different channels already. Touch grass. Lmao
QBs will come & go but there will never be another like Tom Brady. His 7 SB rings, his longevity, his personality. He has sacrificed everything for this game.
i'm sure someone said the same about terry bradshaw and joe montana when they retired and at the time it made sense, however, over time not so much, at present tom is the unquestionable goat but there will always be another that will surpass him or will get close enough to make things debatable, ie jordan/lebron

Us Patriot fans were so insanely spoiled during the 2000's-2010's its ridiculous... I am so thankful I was able to spend my entire childhood / adulthood watching the GOAT of sports play at the highest clutch level. He may not have been the most talented, but he had the most heart & that is what mattered at the end of the day.
Enjoy your next chapter, Tom. I'll never forget the memories.

It's so good to see him making what many of us consider to be the only rational decision and walking off rather than being carted out as a result of some kind of career ending injury. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who's enthusiastically looking forward to his commentary and analysis once he's in the broadcaster's booth. There's no reason not to see this as just another phase of his career.
I’m so glad to watch 2 games of him at the stadium. He was amazing! I ❤ TB12.

Greatest QB ever. What a story. You couldn't of scripted his career if you tried.
As a west coast Patriots fan, I'm beyond thankful this man came to our team and singlehandedly made us NFL royalty. Thank you sir. Enjoy retirement and get in contact with Paige Spiranac. (That's what I would do) lol
The undisputed GOAT of football, his resumé is truly second to none.
GOAT quarterback. That distinction needs to be made.
@@GourSmith nah, he's the GOAT of NFL players. The GOAT of them all.
@@OC.TINYYY Obviously not … I’ve lived in Massachusetts for my entire life. I’m a pats fan. Always have been and always will be. But Tom isn’t the most athletic, he’s not the toughest, he’s not the fastest, he’s not the most explosive, he doesn’t have the most endurance, he’s not the most powerful, he can’t tackle better than most … He’s the greatest quarterback to ever touch a field. That’s the fact. The reality is that a quarterback is a very unique position. He’s not the best football player. You know this.
Aaron Rodgers watching Tom Brady take all of the offseason attention away from him for the 2nd straight year
I have a feeling Rodgers isn't going anywhere.
He owns Fraudgers
I never liked Brady or NE as a 49ers fan (just like I hate all other teams not mine) but respect is always due to him. Not just about the team success (superbowls) but what he “developed” and “ascended” to. What we saw year after year was a dude never satisfied with being good but strived for greatness. More than any records or stats, he worked his way to greatness and beyond. That is legendary

@@danoneall4013 both are great and played in 2 totally different eras of football. Brady’s consistent play and longevity will never be matched or his winning more than likely because no QB is gonna have a great coach and franchise committed to winning like they had on that 20 year run. It’s crazy
Definitely the G..O.A.T. Best wishes, continued success, and thanks for such great memories! What a great ride!
Toms probably gonna never talk about last season to his grandkids when he talks about his career but man left the game the GOAT.
That’s subjective.

Greatest football player ever and very, very, very unlikely anyone will catch him.
My mom was a HUGE patriots fan & of course loved Brady. She passed away in 2015 to a brain aneurysm & to this day I couldn’t imagine how happy she would’ve been watching the Atlanta Vs. Pats Super Bowl epic comeback. I cried when they won that SuperBowl just cause I knew how happy my mom would’ve been for him & the patriots. Now here I am again tearing up watching his retirement video thinking about how my mom would’ve felt & all the memories of cheering him on & seeing him in training camp etc. i didn’t think it would hit me like this but thank you Tom. You was amazing to me and my family every Sundays, Monday’s and Thursdays. Best of luck in your next chapter
Touches my Bills heart buddy. My Da
There's literally no chance of anyone ever coming close to the longevity and rings that he has accumulated over 20 years. Unbelievable career. He has both the stats and the rings, so there will never even be a debate like in basketball.

Everyone talks about his bad season this year, he still was a top ten QB on a bad team with bad coaching. O-line that couldn't block, worse running game, receivers that couldn't get open and dropped the ball when they did.
I went from hating Tom, to him forcing me to respect him, to rooting for him, and finally to being sad he's gone.
Hopefully he finds peace in the next chapter of his life away from football, I know it’s hard to stop doing something you’ve done for 23 years, as a pats fan I am forever thankful for what you’ve done for us, best of luck Tommy!🐐

Brady will be just fine. He's about get a big bag from Fox.
375 million contract to announce for Fox awaits him if he wants. If that can't bring you peace I don't know what will
Would love to see him in a narrator's booth, not as a play-by-play, but color guy. Why? Because i'd love to see/hear how his mind works when observing opposing teams, calls, schemes, etc. etc. Just like Romo - great announcer, and would to get into Brady;s mind as to how he read defenses and what are the best plays to call in certain situations.
