      Also cut the excess because it can leave ghosting. If it bends and air gets under it will ghost. You don’t need a sleeve. You can use painters tape. It’s a lot cheaper. Trust new I’ve had a lot of mistakes and there is a learning curve. I’m not saying it to be mean it anything. Just trying to help.

    • @creationswithtory
      @creationswithtory  Před rokem

      Are you printing it from a sublimation printer? And using sublimation ink? Usually it’s more faded. Then it becomes more bright with the heat.

    • @LovelyByNani
      @LovelyByNani Před rokem +1

      I turned a printer I to a sublimation, I use the sublimation ink. Everything I put it in the oven or a sublimation heat press my images have a pink under color to them. And my image are bright right out of the printer.

    • @creationswithtory
      @creationswithtory  Před rokem

      Did you convert a new printer? Or one that had already been running regular ink? If it’s one that was previously using regular ink, maybe you still have the residual ink coming out as well? Also, as far as the pink shadow. Are you printing in best or high quality? Did you uncheck the high speed, are you securing the sublimation paper so it doesn’t move? Some times it trial and error. If you heat too long it can cause that as well. I would start with following the guidelines of the sublimation paper and mugs. See what they recommend and then go from there. Hope that helps.

      That's not a stupid question. I just googled it and it said foil can be flammable. Wow! I didn't know that. I use parchment paper. Also, every tumbler is different. Is your mug a sublimation mug? It sounds like it isn’t. You have to have a sublimation mug or tumbler or it can catch on fire. Hope that helps

      My shrink wrap splits my 3 mins.
      I ordered my prints off Etsy.
      I got sublimation tumblers from hobby lobby.
      Mine actually had a line of burnt mark. The 1st one I preheated to long and it was bad.
      2nd time. 3 mins and it’s burt again.
      Idk what the issue is now.
      I’m doing exactly what you did step by step 350 for 4.5 mins is longest I have got & still burning paper shrink wrap (HTV Ront brand ) is melting cup is burnt.
      Now I’m ordering internal thermometer to make sure my oven is correct temp

      @chrise0515 I’ve never heard of that! I just looked it up & it says when you’re applying shrink wrap, if you put the heat gun too close to the shrink wrap for too long and it’s overly tight. That could happen. I hope the thermostat helps. Let me know. 😀
