  • The unbelievable battery rider from Husqvarna. Got a lawn too big for a push mower but too small for a conventional tractor mower, then have a look at Husqvarna's battery rider. With its ability to get in, around, between and under it is ideal for smaller (from 600 sq m) and more intricate lawned areas. With up to 1.5 hours of mowing time on one charge even bigger blocks (4000 sq m) are barely a challenge. Its so manoeuvrable it leaves next to nothing for you to have to go back after and finish off with a line trimmer or lawn mower. Great time and effort saving all round. Check out the Husqvarna battery rider at Elliott's Small Engines in Bunbury or Busselton.

I use one for work and have to say its invaluable. I pull a small trailer as well for green waste. Its so quiet and mows all day. I dont worry about the battery going flat in a full days works.

Lithium or acid battery? Huge difference.

This battery rider had lead acid batteries for its power source. These did have some weight and long term life expectancy concerns when used infrequently. I believe they are working on the next gen with lithium ion batteries.

There is new hybrid rider with Li-Ion batteries, but it is 500 series, so it is BIG and expensive rider for professionals...
Remember, that Li-Ion batteries are expensive, so battery only rider witth Li-Ion batteries will be very expensive too... :/
