In this video, we explore the relationship between ESG and the concept of "woke" and question whether ESG is a beneficial force or a tool for controlling elites. We examine the difference between ESG scores from an investment angle and ESG due diligence in the supply chain.
We also discuss the importance of understanding user needs and how Procurement and Supply Chain teams can undertake ESG assessments to figure out if the supplier is a good bet.
We highlight the widespread issues when it comes to ESG and how it is far from perfect, but there is an opportunity to make it a force for good by working with supply chains. We emphasise the importance of clear criteria and policies for Supplier ESG and how it can be a valuable exercise in Procurement. Join us as we dive into the world of ESG and Supply Chain ESG.

Thank you for this video. As a former buyer and now a procurement trainer in Poland, I decided to extend my knowledge in ESG area via cooperation with ESG consulting company, because:
1.I believe that we can treat people better, be responsible for our supply chains. 2. ESG is a subject which won't disappear in a next few years... As you described - we, As a procurement, especially SQA/SQE (supplier quality assurance/engineering) teams, were veryfing supplier for sake of different criteria for "ages". Big companies like Tesla are influencing People. Planet etc. The point is that Business is not only to get money, it is also to be responsible what is highligthed in ESG regulations. What needed to be highligthed to not copy situation from Rana Plaza or other catastrophs, where local society waited years to get needed support and better work places, because in this particular case, noone felt responsible for that...

I'm tired and disgusted of the toxic propaganda and catastrophism that comes out of the resource sector media . Elon Musk lacks judgement and seems to just rehash on social media the junk from the rabbit holes he's gone down- disapointing.
