Ever since, I had been entertained by your channel, laughing and enjoying every second of your videos. Fast-forward to my sophomore year of high school, I was in a deep depressive state. I felt hopeless, sad, and even suicidal at one point. However, you're channel came right into mind, and I was cured greatly. Though I still suffer from some depression, it's nothing compared to what I went through. Shawn K, you remain one of my favorite youtubers, and I certainly would've not had the life I do without discovering this channel. I hope you get to see this message. Woah these are some really good computer technicians. they kept identifying and troubleshooting all the pc's problems. first of all that god awful mouse. two the optical drive wasn't working, so he installed some new drivers. What amazing work these guys do
+SuperWeaves Alternative way on how to delete a Windows Media Player shortcut: 1: Get a hammer. 2: Wack the tower at least 6 times and then the icon should disappear. 3: Now go and enjoy using your barely functional computer with Windows Media Player shortcut out of your sight and mind.
It's actually just a minor oversight, that was just the Windows Media Player icon on the start menu staying there even after the start menu closed until the mouse moved.
That icon was probably the DVD reader launcher, after hitting it with the hammer, the reader broke and because the computer didn't detected it, it removed it.
Almost 10 years since this masterpiece came out! Doesn't seem like it. I would pay top dollar to see you and your group do a destructive collaboration with PlainRock124 and smashthings1!
It really pisses me off when people say that they could have used that computer. I say "Aww. Too bad it's about 15 years old and is about 25 times less powerful than a modern pc."
@@stvpls EXACTLY. They're more durable than a modern pc. My mom had an old eMachines running Windows Vista. The damn thing ran good, too. It had an AMD processor and an Nvidia gpu graphics card. But over time the Ethernet stopped working, so my mom hated it after that. So, -I destroyed it- it destroyed me because I couldn't get my pickaxe to go through the damn thing.

In the UK we have an endless supply of these old Dell desktops left over from the revolution in computing that came about in the early 2000s. Long story short, we are still using this crap in both public and private services nationwide. Navigating the internet on one of these is like driving with the handbrake still applied. I would destroy them all if I could. Great smash btw!
@@fakeaccount6372 It's possible the sound chip was nearby the explosive and got affected. Other than that, I don't see any other reason it would skip. If if froze, it would loop only a small part of the sound. Which would be anything in the buffer, I'd think.
7:23 I think the computer blue screened from him drilling the sound card or whatever that was on the motherboard xD would be interesting to see if it was a blue screen
I think the card in the slot was a modem card, because if it was a sound card, the speaker would be plugged in there. Also it's possible that it crashes but didn't show a blue screen but a blue screen doesn't loop audio of that kind of length.

I have a Dell dimension 8200 and a Dell trinitron P1130 crt and they still work. The computer is a Pentium 4 and it runs Windows 2000. I got it in August 2001
I once smashed a old DirecTV cable box because it was one of those ones that DirecTV wouldn't take back as it was to old and it was before at&t acquired the brand 🤣

Clever moves! My favorite was when you put the firecracker on the sound card and it started skipping.
Now that you mention it, I just realized the firecracker was actually between the network adapter and modem. This computer had integrated audio.

Nope. That's a graphical artifact caused by the start menu. The hammer hitting the computer did nothing in terms of graphic or desktop compromisation.
