Australia, Brazil, Scythia, China and Kongo have so much space to settle
and you see 10 European civs bunched up there fighting for land within the first 50 turns
We need some kind of balance for that :/
but Australia dont have any enemies and they are against declaring wars as the defensive bonus so i think they will have a bit of a boring game so not a lot of people will pick them.
There is balance. It's called *barbarians*. Drew always disables them, though.

I think it does, it has in my experience.
Actually the TSL Map is Villina, it was made by the devs of the game and the naming option comes with it.

I think Brazil is gonna win because the other civs will most likely leave them alone for a long time, which will allow them to build up a lot.
Superlazerninja12 moreover. It will be easy for them to defend the territories. Rome might colonize further in Africa, while India may destroy few civilizations in the south Asia. If Poland holds off against Russia, they may colonize part of northern Asia while Japan will push their borders towards India. Australia will colonize whole south east Asia and Britain will finally settle Iceland and north America.

Why in this campaign are like 3 Thebes? One is Capitol of Greece, one is Capitol of Egypt and one is another Egyptian city. Wtf?! XD

Krecik123 When Alexander the Great captured Egypt and Persia and beyond, he renamed many of the cities he conquered after himself (and a bunch after his horse). He also founded the city of Alexandria in Egypt, which would become its capital when Ptolemy I took over.
Historically speaking there was a greek thebes alongside egyptian thebes, it is mentioned as the birthplace of Tiresias in Homer's Oddessy

Reasons: when they fought off the Aztecs and took a city I feel like they could defeat them and take over all North America
It's really hard to pick a winner as a lot of smaller civs seem to be doing really well but the stronger civs seem to be much weaker. Norway has already taken over the best parts of Scandinavia, England seem to be settling north america already, Japan have got a strong hold in Asia, rome and spain are already settling north Africa and egypt having a lot of north Africa really does limit the kongo's power. Gandhi is starting to expand out of india and into the stans while Australia has already gone to indonesia. America seems to have control over north america but has left their coast clear for england to settle. Brazil seem to be the safest bet but all the over safe bets seems to have lost a lot of their power. Russia and the Kongo are much weaker due to the closet civs having a great start. Poland has control over central Europe but the greek area hasnt been unified which will make it much harder for sparta , greece and macedon. The middle east has all three civs being pretty strong but India, Sythia and Egypt could be a big threat to the middle eastern civs. Germany seems to be gone already but if France can take over the remains of Germany would could seem them become an extremely powerful civ. China seemed to make a big mistake of letting japan taking soo much land on main land asia but China still has loads of room to settle.
The safest choices are Australia and Brazil as it is nearly impossible to take their capitals
The Civ i believe not to pick are Greece Germany Sparta
Strong powers are going to be America, Sythia, India, Kongo,
Less strong powers are going to be Persia or Gilgamesh (if one of them take over the middle east), Egypt, Poland, Rome, Japan and china.
Dark Horses are England, Spain, the aztecs and Macedon and Arabia.
I think France can have a great game if they dont let poland take over the rest of Germany.
My pick is going to be America for already taking over most of America and once they finish settling the rest of America they will take out the Aztecs and actually be able to take on Brazil but they must push on quickly as Brazil will snowball in science as the rainforest tiles will give the loads of bonuses.

Laveol I mean, technically he was Macedonian, but depending on who you ask, Macedon is either considered to be northern Greece or it’s own thing. (I personally count it as northern Greece.)

Alexander was both Macedonian AND Greek. Same as someone from Texas is both a Texan AND an American. FYROM is like, having a new Mexican settlement, near the US border, claiming that they should be called Texas, and that Robert E. Lee was a proud "Texan" general.

Alexander *_was_* Greek. Do your homework, Drew! People from FYROM are slavs who moved into the region much later, and they don't even occupy the core area of the Macedon kingdom. They like to claim Greek history as theirs so as to make their country and its history seem more interesting.

Literally just realised, the cities are being named after where they are in the map, all the cities - I believe are in the correct geological place 0_0, I know it is for sure with America, you guys can check the other civ's
EDIT: The only city I found that doesn't correlate with this is Damascus of Arabia.
