- In todays video me and my 11 year old son built his ultimate dream gaming pc.
Its his first time ever building a pc and was very nervous but I think he did a great job, up until now he has been gaming on a Xbox series X with his 144hz 4k monitor and it works great but I wanted him to experience what true pc gaming was all about and what better way than building his dream gaming pc.

I was the same tbh but he is a fantastic lil lad and on to big school in Sept so it should last him next 3-4 years or I hope so 👍

@Meezaenzo oh dear it wasn't meant to that and tbh he is very rarely spoiled we live a very grounded life and as I said yes it's totally overkill but it's something I wanted for him too and a special moment to do something together he won't forget. I can tell you I still remember tge things that really matered to me and that was when my dad was interested the stuff I loved.

That's some impressive hardware for a kid's first PC!! It was really enjoyable to watch you and your son build his computer together. It brought back memories from when I was about your son's age and my dad was teaching me how to work on and build computers. Very cool.

What a kickass PC that is mate, he did really well, hoping my kids will share my interest in PC building as they get older. Must be a real proud dad moment, beastly machine as well. Not bad for a first PC 😂

reminds me of when me and my dad built my first proper gaming pc a few years back, of course it was definitely a bit more lower end than this. i had a pentium g4560 + gtx 770 at the time, but i loved the pc and the build process a lot lol. hopefully your son enjoys that beast of a build 👍

Really great video guys and truly wicked build !! Literally installed my 360 arctic last week and man that mounting system was a bloomin nightmare pity cos it does work and looks so good dunno what I was doing but it wasn't that easy for me haha I fought with it for ages trying to get the screws started 😅

Im thinking of getting the msi b650m gaming plus wifi also. How are the termals when putting in the 7950x3D? Ill probably only be putting in a 7700x

I was bought up on a council estate and my parents worked for every penny and tbh so have I. I get it but I know it's overkill but I want my kids to understand to have nice things you have to work for them and then enjoy them but also look after them. Nothing insincere there mate just saying your still here and your chance to do better.

Pull that 7950X3D and replace it with the 7800X3D. Cooler, cheaper, and better gaming performance.
Yeah it's better for gaming just not my wallet mate that's all - u had a spare 7950x3d that's the only reason he has it! I do agree 7800x3d is the better gaming cpu. Appreciate you watching and taking time to comment 👍

In a perfect world yeah it's a little too close but it's fine

Awesome vid mate! Quick question: I'm planning a smiliar build but I really want to use an MSI project zero board. These come in either b650 or z790 versions. The b650 would be more future proof, but also more constrictive than the z790 board. What would you suggest i get? FYI, the z790 would be paired with a 14900k and the b650 with 7950x3d
Thanks mate 👍 honestly I would go amd just for next 4 years and can simply place in a new cpu and not have to worry about a new mobo. BUt if your not fussed about tge temps and want the absolute best intel mate 👍
@TechCheckUK and the fact thats its b650 rather than x670 wouldnt be to limiting overclocking or ssd speed wise?
Hi Mate i would personally go x670 if your going 7950x3d - the b650 will perform fine but you may miss out on future upgrades. I would have gone x670 if i had white one but i didnt.

Shame about the 7950x3D and the huge case. Made my son a Fractal Terra 7800x3D and 4090. Perfect build and no huge space and heat hog.
Nice case the terra but for very small builds buddy - this is a matx so not big tbh and only reason for 7950x3d was it was a spare as I ordered 2 of them - appreciate you watching TY

Why you guys with the 7950x3d over the 7800x3d I thought it was better performance for gaming
Yes it is but he wants to stream and edit and lots of rendering tasks and tbh the 7800x3d would still be fine but I also ordered 2 a long time ago so it was on the shelf and needed to be used.
@@TechCheckUK11 year old needs that though. Surely he’ll be doing more gaming than rendering and it’s not like the 7800x3d is terrible when it comes to video editing tasks.
No not at all a 7800x3d would also have been overkill tbh but I had one spare on the shelf and why not build as good as it can be. It will last longer and he can do everything he needs and more.

Yeah it's fine mate - works great. Don't think you need x670e or the most expensive components u don't.

@@TechCheckUK I mean im going with a 7600x hahah, in a 4000d airflow with a Phantom Spirit cooler, but would like to upgrade in years to a Ryzen 7 9800x3D and have a Motherboard that can handle a powerful CPU, that was my main concern.

I dont think you really want to give him that with how the whole internet and social media is becoming such a brain rot for kids...
