great vid ! ive been welding pipeline here in canada for 35 yrs you guys are doing it the same way we did 35 yrs ago i used a 1961 200amp lincoln and swore by them but that miller is one bad ass machine i want one now great job guys your all good hands thumbs up from canada

Is that remote adjusting Amperage or Voltage ??? The Lincoln remote ( box) is a voltage regulator ….. correct or No ?? I run the 350d pipe pro with the wireless remote from Miller……. 40p on that remote would be 40% of my high end set limit ??? I’ve had this discussion with many people regarding how these remotes actually work……

I don't work on pipeline so excuse me if I'm wrong and this doesn't apply, doesn't having 2 welders start at the same spot and end at the same spot run the risk of blowing over interpass?
I’m no pipe welder myself, but I assume you’re allowed to be a little more sloppy on a coupon. since on an actual pipe, it’s constantly pulling the heat away, and if I’m not Mistaken, on some larger diameters and certain procedures the helper has to actually keep the weed burner on it as needed.

What do you guys like the machine max set on when remote is on 100?, what do you recommend for the dig range, the dig, the hot start, and I ask for software M. I usually have machine max on 220, hot start .6 dig range 105, dig stif 5. Would like to stack more metal should I turn my machine max up, dig range higher and run the dig on a higher stif setting?
