I'll end up using all 3 once I get to the level I need to be ABLE to use them.
To repeat what others have said... the VST for the MIC. That means that I don't have to put up that sound deadening foam in my stream room cause the HVAC is loud.
None, I don´t have an RTX graphics card, so nothing new for me. I was hoping that they have implemented something to actually get me a background blur or background removal on my Facecam, but it´s just for Nvidia users. So yeah

I am loving the new update for the wave link. I was considering the cost of going for a new audio solution due to background noises, but here comes Elgato saving my money and time!!

Lol, your example with the teammate is close to what I just did for my Discord audio. My friends have some stupidly inconsistent mic levels and I got tired of adjusting them all the time, so I just slapped ReaComp onto Discord in my mixer.

I would only recommend the noise removal vst if you ABSOLUTELY need it.
My gpu idle power draw went from 14-18 watts all the way up to 80-110 watts, as reported by multiple programs. If you don’t have heavy background noise, a traditional noise gate might be better, one that doesn’t quadruple your power draw at idle…
Well does it matter? If you are already gaming, you power draw will be up anyway. Besides, noise gate is useless while you are talking.

There's one thing (imo) that the wave link is missing now, being able to remove certain noise channel from a VOD
I'm glad I watched your video. I use Broadcast and still do because for some reason they never included the built in background removal that Broadcast still has. I didn't even think to use a greenscreen image so I am going to play around with that tonight. One less piece of software is the reason I went with Eglato. Was tied of playing with voicemeeter and other audio apps and just having one for each device to do everything I want plus OBS is ideal.

I love Elgato just making it so much smoother for streamers or content creators. SOME TIMES their software messes up, but I still love their stuff.

I just setup an Elgato webcam and mic. Haven't used them too much yet but it's nice to have these options out of the gate once I start streaming and doing voice overs in my videos.

Oh I can't wait to try this out! Setting up a green screen every time I want to stream really limits how often I feel like streaming. And in my current situation I NEED to filter out my bg. If I can do that with just the press of a button I will definitely be streaming more often!

I'm kind of a novice but I'm curious can I use this elgato and the Nvidia software with both a MacBook pro and a Chromebook as my primary computers? When I went to the Nvidia website it seemed like I am only able to use Windows

Not only do I find a solution for background noise for good, but he also throws in a nice studio picture for us to use, what a lad! Thanks to this video I will rid myself of background noise for the forseeable future. So I will definitely keep my eye out for future videos like this one!

I’ve been using nvidia broadcast and elgato equipment since I started my channel in October. I’m glad they merged , it should be less taxing on my pc now 😁

Could you make a video on the loupedeck live/Razer Stream Controller? Possibly compare it to the elgato streamdeck? I'm curious about which is better for video editing, since I have more focus on videos.

I use Nividia Broadcast on my Razer Kiyo and I love it. I use a little blur with their auto-tracking feature which works alright. I use the mic settings on my Yeti I've gotten great reviews from people in Discord and lobbies
I'm going to go look to see if you have a what you need to record gameplay but do you need a capture card to do so?

Hey Harris, for Elgato capture.. I was wondering if you could advise me on a good Bluetooth wireless gaming headset that has LOW input latency?
I use an Elgato to capture PS5 footage while playing on my big living room TV. Running headphones from the PS5 makes it so that the audio isn't picked up by the Elgato stream, so I need the headphones to connect to the TV itself! And the TV doesn't have an AUX port. So it's Bluetooth or bust, and most Wireless earbuds / over-ears feature considerable enough input latency that I am experiencing an audible delay when playing the game.

I’m really excited about the VST From Nvidia, I’ve been pretty bummed that I can’t take advantage of Nvidia’s excellent noise removal engine in the wave link software, but now I can!
NVIDIA Broadcast has been great, and I love that Elgato is integrating those features. Nvidia Broadcast does allow a video to be set as a background, and I don't see that feature available in Elgato (yet)
I don't have a need for a capture card at the moment (except my CamLink 4k which grabs my DSLR camera input. But the first two are FREAKING AWESOME!!!
Thanks for the info! Just updated everything and installed the drivers. The blur on 0% actually looks realistic, only issue I am having right now is the effects aren't working in OBS. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Great Video!
I'm having the same issue, when I bring in the webcam to SLOBS all the settings in the elgato software pull through like white balance, exposure etc, but the new nvidia background effects don't. I only spent a short time on it last night so it might just need a bit of tweaking, I'm going to have a proper play around with it later but if you do find out how to get it working I'd apprecaite if you could let me know as well
On your video capture device source, you need to set it to Elgato Virtual Camera, not Elgato Camera.

Definitely interested the RTX Voice for Wave Link. Maybe I won't have to turn of my AC now in this sweltering heat when I record. Thanks a bunch.
RTX Voice is also available for Nvidia Cards 700 series or later. I'm not sure about the video effects, but I wouldn't be surprised that it actually works fine on non RTX cards.
Nvidia broadcast does use tensor cores so it's a no for gtx cards.
There was a workaround for 10 series cards when the broadcast software first came out but it was a bit iffy on if it would work or not.
@@sendhelp8441 I've used it on a 10 series card before and it worked just fine, it worked surprisingly well never had any issues with it.
@@sendhelp8441 Also why else do you think I said what I said despite what Harris said In the video. Nvidia doesn't want the features to be available for earlier cards, because it lessens the appeal to upgrade to an RTX card.
@@sendhelp8441 RTX Voice and Nvidia Broadcast are two different programs. When Broadcast launched, the RTX requirement from the RTX Voice standalone app was removed so it could work on most GPUs 600 series and up. RTX is only required for using Broadcast.

I'm considering getting a wave 3 and these updates just sold me on it. should I get the LP arm or the normal arm?
If im already using nvidia broadcast features is there a benifit to using it through the elgato apps?
