Chelonia Mydas I feel like Savage Messiah's vocals are a bit weak for the sound they're going for. They would work better in an Anthrax style thrash band, or a power metal band. They still sound good though

Saw these guys with Amon Amarth recently in Manchester, first support band that I immediately went and bought an album (bar ones I already knew would be good). They were so good it was pretty much an obligation. I've seen Carcass, Hell, Bleed from Within, Huntress and Savage Messiah support Amon Amarth and only Savage Messiah were at the same standard live as Amon Amarth, Carcass got close, but the short set and the pointless gore pictures aimed at psuedo-rebellious 14 year olds got old fast.

Very rarely do new bands actually play guitar solos in their songs( i dont know why they dont but i dont like that). They gotta put solos. This band does, they are pretty damn awesome, and they've got the real 'metal' element in them a bit more compared to other bands. Awesome rythm riffs, awesome guitar solos, awesome drums and pretty good vocals, dark menacing lyrics, working togther as well as individually really well, what more do you need in a metal band? These guys know how to keep it metal! \m/

So it seems that these guys are the ones to take the Evile throne... good stuff. Guitar-wise these guys remind me of Annihilator, and overall Walls of Jericho era Helloween... which is a good thing.
Anyone who enjoys this, I recommend that you seek out an Australian band called Harlott... another band who is keeping good thrash alive! \m/

Seen these supporting Anon Amarth at Sugarmill Stoke on Trent, Dave's Guitar gave up and he just sung Bruce Dickinson style, they're better then Huntress! In fact so good I brought The Fateful Dark!
