Although I'll admit this song is a little generic I think this is how a girl singer shows that females do belong in this genre. So many play up the sexuality part or girl singing intermixed and this chick just lays down the fucking pain and doesn't draw attention to the fact she's a girl. I respect this.
You should check out Fight the Demiurge. I'm pretty sure it's one lady doing the whole project, and she's got some of the best gutterals I've heard in a long time from a slam project. Plus, most of her stuff is free on her bandcamp.

+Augusto Flores yeah hahah, I haven't gotten into much devourment but I was introduced to this song a long time ago, and there are a couple brutal/slam death metal bands I've gotten into since then, like abominable putridity, ingested, disfiguring a goddess, aborted fetus, etc.

Loving Som's vocals, although im disappointed in the bassist. I see those slaps, but i dont hear them. Especially without a rhythm guitarist, you should turn your amp up and add some treble so your tone is discernible from the guitar. Tired of low tuned chugging guitars drowning out the bass

Som has some of the best vocals in brutal death metal although the guitars are a bit disappointing. The riff work is average and the bass is pretty much non existent. Meh, it wouldn't hurt to make it sound heavier and chuggier though somewhat like slam.
Disagree, they have a kind of cryptopsy sound to them that is not common, slam is some of the most repetitive bullshit I've ever heard, people need to stop basing a whole genre on one fuckin riff by suffocation, there's a reason why Suffocation is well loved and Slam all sounds the same.
