+John Cornell Just your opinion. Zep was top 5 in rock history, but we all know Page copied others music all over their Zep years, there is nothing wrong about it. Some Queen songs are very original till today, so Zep guys saw this song as a compliment, Plant already sang it, at least he tried. Queen was obssesed by zep and hendrix just in case you don't know. This song is a masterpiece of music, not just of rock, those that dont notice are stupid or deaf

    • @Credin84
      @Credin84 Před 8 lety +1

+John Cornell Led Zeppelin copied not even melody but even lyrics, Led zeppelin was an amazing band but tell me a song of theirs completely original like Bohemian rapsody or The March of the black queen or dozens of other Queen song I doubt you know. Another one bites the dust is a disco based song, of course it copied something from somebody. Listen to Cream songs, do you notice something similar to Zep or not??

    • @Credin84
      @Credin84 Před 8 lety +2

John Cornell So Zep is completely original?? Come on bro, Zep is based on american folk and Blues, Page copied not just lyrics but almost entire songs(making better versions of course). Name 5 zep songs completely original. Beatles had made Orchestra rock themes many years before, so Kashmir is a masterpiece, but not original at all.

    Исполнение фантастическое!
    Bohemian Rhapsody - грандиозное.
    Innuendo - фантастическое.
    На моё скромное суждение.

BoRhap was their classic intro to their elongated discs. BoRhap was Queen and Innuendo proves it. Both masterpieces. Interesting that the Spanish influence came after Fred spent time with Monserrat on stage there.

I heard Killer Queen the first week it hit the airwaves in the U.S.. I only say that to affirm that I was a rabid and admiring fan from the very start, and all the way through.
Having said all that shit... this is my very favorite Queen song. I can't not cry when I hear it (... especially Freddie's voice *sniff*). 98% of all the rest are close seconds. =)

I hate how usually old-school music fans are thinking that their music taste is the right music taste.. I like queen too (but my favourite is Pink Floyd), but I don't think that my musical taste is the best musical taste.. there's no such thing.

    Lyrics
    Ooh ooh
While the sun hangs in the sky and the desert has sand
While the waves crash in the sea and meet the land
While there's a wind and the stars and the rainbow
Till the mountains crumble into the plain
Oh yes, we'll keep on trying
    Tread that fine line
    Oh, we'll keep on trying
    Yeah
    Just passing our time
    Oh oh
While we live according to race, colour or creed
While we rule by blind madness and pure greed
Our lives dictated by tradition, superstition, false religion
Through the eons and on and on
Oh, yes, we'll keep on trying, yeah
    We'll tread that fine line
Oh oh we'll keep on trying
    Till the end of time
    Till the end of time
Through the sorrow all through our splendor
Don't take offence at my innuendo
Duh duh duh duh duh duh duh
Duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh duh
You can be anything you want to be
Just turn yourself into anything you think that you could ever be
Be free with your tempo, be free, be free
Surrender your ego be free, be free to yourself
    Oh oh, yeah
If there's a God or any kind of justice under the sky
If there's a point, if there's a reason to live or die
Ha, if there's an answer to the questions we feel bound to ask
Show yourself destroy our fears release your mask
Oh yes, we'll keep on trying
    Hey, tread that fine line
    (Yeah) yeah
    We'll keep on smiling, yeah
    (Yeah) (yeah) (yeah)
And whatever will be will be
    We'll just keep on trying
    We'll just keep on trying
    Till the end of time
    Till the end of time
    Till the end of time
