@@udayarekhapalepu6587 still not the same..no trees left for them, we used to live in government quarters..birds, crows, squirrels were common thing but after we shifted to our home I hv hardly seen squirrels in five years, even crows.. everything is changed..90s was different..

This is probably the only documentary made on Partition of Bengal. Rest all documentary, mentions in India are of Punjab. Refugees of Punjab were shown sympathy, kindness, settled by Central Govt whereas refugees from Bengal werent even ever mentioned, forget sympathy.
My most favourite serial..lahron ki tarah yadein Dil say takrati hai..kuch yadein insaan chah kar bhi nahi bhul sakta..jaise Bachpan..I'm so missing those days..😢
I was lucky to go back and see the houses(still intact) in Barisal ans Mymensingh. I received overwhelming response from the occupants. They offered me food and snacks… I was so happy.
