- Wagle Ki Duniya (literally: 'Wagle's World') was a popular comedy sitcom on Indian television, aired for the first time in 1988 to 1990 on state-run Doordarshan channel. It was directed by Kundan Shah, and was based on characters created by noted cartoonist, R. K. Laxman, especially "the common man" about the issues of common middle-class Indian man.It starred Anjan Srivastav as a bumbling sales clerk in a multinational and Bharati Achrekar as his wife. The series was hit and made Anjan Srivastav a household name.

दूरदर्शन के पास अनमोल "खजाना" है, जो हर "नुक्कड" में "हमलोग" देखा करते थे।"रामायण" और "महाभारत" हमारी "बुनियाद" है। "दादा दादी की कहानियां" सुनते हुए हम बड़े हुए। "रजनी" दीदी सभी की प्यारी, "ये जो है जिंदगी" न बहूत "कशिश" भरी है। "विक्रम और बेताल" न होते तो "अलिफ लैला" कैसे देख पाते। सब "करमचंद" और "ब्योमकेश बक्षी" का किया धरा है, वर्ना ये "चुनौती" हमारे सामने न होती..."सुबह" की "कच्ची धुप" खिली और "एक दो तीन चार" के बाद सब "ऊलटा पुलटा" हो गये...और "वागले की दुनिया" में खो गये...यही तो हमारे बचपन के सुंदर, सरल, निर्दोष "मालगुडी डेज" थे.....❤❤❤❤❤

isiliye bjp doordarshan ki jagah private tv channels ko jyada value dena shuru krdiya aur bjp sirf private cheejo ko hi support kar rahi h. ab TATA ne jaise hi bsnl ko support kiya sab log bsnl ki taraf aa rhe h. private companies ko chord ke.
You know why I like this show. Because there is no background score. Real voice, calmness in each scene

@@avikgope4156 remove the electric fans from your house, remove the ac from your house,throw your phone and laptop in dustbin and write letter to communicate your loved ones...all of the thing is in your hand ,you can still live a simple life😂......i am not able to understand what is the fault of electrical appliances in making human life worse...the adult living in 2023 will pass the same dialogue in 2050 that life was good then...and i am sure that old people in 1986 when this serial was released were also passing the same dialogue that life was good in 1950s 😂😂😂..99% people are are not happy with there present life whether rich or poor ,they will always paise the there past life ,no matter how bad it was....its a psychological condition called rosy retrospection,search it on google..

25 minute ka serial kitna sukoon deta hai or aaj kal ke serials ko dekhne ka dil ni krta.
Aaj Kal serials serials nh hain. Farzi hain wo. Isliye nh chahiye ji.
This is exactly how villagers loot the land owners who moved to cities. The situation is still the same after so many years.

@@valrockxy Yeah they don't spare other villagers because Land is expensive and Landlords also know this very well ! They know the location/area/worth everything about their land ! They visit and inspect their land regularly! Gone are the days when land was left for their caretakers !

दुरदर्शन की 90s की धारावाहिक बहुत लाजवाब थी। वागले की दुनिया उन मशहूर धारावाहिकों में से एक। Landlord वाह क्या episode था। लाजवाब पर सिधी साधी script, निर्देशन और सभी कलाकारों की पेशकश सभी सिधा साधा पर उम्दा है।🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

i remember 2 episode - diwali and socity election which is not available on youtube. . and on wikipedia list 104 episodes.

@@diujay 104 is too much. Serials in those days didn't run for this much time. The longest running serial was Buniyad (and it ran for a year only). I have checked wikipedia. The total episode number is 13. All episodes are there in playlist.

Very nice episode, didn't expect the ending. Hindi serials today are so preachy, new wagle gives a lot of Bhashan, Tarak Mehta mein also Bhashan, haven't noticed it in other language serials.
