I am from Kashmir and this serial was a hit in 1980s and 1990s. I think this series along with Imam Ali AS in persian are the best TV serials in the world.
Truly a classic. Every Indan should watch it. It's amazing how they fit so much into a 20 minute episode. Really rich and interesting stories, perfectly executed writing, direction and acting. Some shows are destined to be great and timeless. Malgudi Days is one of them.

malgudi simply grate. Writers imagination (Shri Narayan) is captured by shri laxman. It's very show difficult show content without failing Narayan/Laxman wants communicate..🤐 Main characters voice dubbed I love his real voice..
This is not even 20 percent of Shankar nag. The visionary had a great dream for Bangalore.. He had plans of introducing cable car to Nandi Hills and Bengaluru metro in 80’s. His thoughts were soo ahead of its time.. we will be in debt to him for ever..
