    I discovered this a couple years ago. I found myself saying that I don't like myself as a parent but I'm fun and gentle, completely different with others. I literally started wearing dresses everyday to influence myself to be more feminine. It HELPS so much. It changes how I think of myself and therefore how I treat my children and husband.
    This also helps your marriage by the way!!!

    As a single mother who is healing from an abusive relationship and trauma from my child’s father I feel like my masculine energy is two-fold. My trauma is masculine driven and acting as the primary parent doing everything also puts me in my masculine. Currently working on healing and reclaiming both

    Thank you for recognizing and highlighting the differences and strengths in men and women at a time when some people are trying to say there isn’t any difference🤦🏼‍♀️ it’s a beautiful thing to embrace our feminine nature as women.

    Some self care activities for me: going to a coffee shop and enjoying my latte slowly, taking care of my face with a facial routine twice a day; using a candle during a shower (a tip i got from another member of the studio) and absolutely feel energized when i spend time with my girlfriends

    OMG, you are hitting the nail on the head with your insides. You made me realize that I am in my masculine energy probably 90% of the time and it's taking the joy out of my life.
    Thank you for this video! Well 👍

    Yikes! 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️ guilty as charged! I need to reclaim my feminine energy. ❤❤❤ thank you for this video. Such a brave and bold message in a culture that wants to erase gender and minimize & not achknowledge the purpose, importance & benefits of each. The yin & yang of both, how they fit together and balance each other. Gods perfect design.

    Teal swan often mentions how we are in an Era where women are expected to be both the man or masculine and the woman feminine

    Thank you for this video. The concept of bringing a feminine energy to family life is something that I've been hearing a bit about lately but hadn't bothered actually getting past headlines etc until your video. A lot of your ideas are things i have heard in other contexts and so bringing them to my parenting life is quite exciting. Two things i particularly want to focus on are barking less ordered and instead speaking my desires and then brining feminine touches to the home. Both are things I've started to do in a very limited way but both need more focused attention!

    Your comment on expressing your desires reminded me of this book I read titled, "The Empowered Wife" by Laura Doyle.

    I have a problem. I am a single mom. My husband divorced me because i violated our marriage vow and decided to keep the kid. so I moved out with the kid. Living with my parents. - although it sounds lovely I dont know if what you say is really practical for a single mom.

    Hi, I was wondering whether you would mind sharing your resources as to the definition of masculine and feminine energy? Thank you 😊

    • @HiFamLife
      @HiFamLife  Před rokem +4

      These concepts can be found and are defined in ancient Taoist thinking as represented with the Yin and Yang - feminine (moon) and masculine (sun) energies, seen as complimentary. They're also symbolically represented in Judao-Christian biblical stories - such as the story of Adam and Eve and in kabalistic terms (we see G-d referred to both in the masculine and the feminine and embodying very different traits in each). And more recently they are explored in psychology as temperamental traits that are found more typically in men vs women. Carl Jung introduced the idea of "anima" and "animus." The anima represents the inner feminine side of a man, and the animus represents the inner masculine side of a woman. Jung believed that to achieve wholeness, one needed to integrate these opposite energies. One of the best speakers on this subject is Jordan Peterson!

      @HiFamLife thank you so much for your answer and for sharing your resources! Jung's theory sounds especially interesting to me, I'll have to read up on it further. Many thanks and have a lovely day 😊

      I really appreciated this explanation! Personally I’m tired of the “masculine” and “feminine” narrative. I do wish we could use more terminology here that you used, like sun energy and moon energy. Or hard energy and soft energy.
