    I'm still waiting for mine, but the nice thing is that, because it's velcro, it's easy washable.

    I don’t have that kind of facial interface but I do have a nice smooth one that absorbs sweat which is great

      Nice. I'm sure it's better than the stock facial interface for sure!

    Mine has gaps and they pass the blame to the consumer saying its improperly assembled. I mean...its kind of hard to do it wrong. It is what it is, and there is gaps. Funny thing is they mailed out V2's for early adopters...the gaps are worse.

      Interesting. I'm glad you've shared that here for all to read.

    Have you had a chance to test it with BoboVR S3 Pro headstrap, is the F3 even better than Maecker one?

    • @BrianSloanArtist
      @BrianSloanArtist  Před 2 měsíci +1

      I haven't. And the version I have is made for elite straps, not halo straps. They have a different size for halo type straps.
      I haven't tested the Maecker one so I can't say for sure.

    hi, on another video i saw that the elite version of the interface (thick padding one) has issues of popping off from the bottom and only noticed on one of the jaybratts videos, just want to confirm is that wide spread on these or it did not happen on your unit. I'm considering on getting these and just wanted to clear the doubts ,thanks

      Do you mean like where it connects magnetically to the base? If so, that has happened to me a few times, but not ever while playing.

    Is there any light leakage?

    • @BrianSloanArtist
      @BrianSloanArtist  Před 2 měsíci +2

      I noticed a tiny bit at one angle but I was standing right under a very bright light. When playing in my living room, there was no light leakage.

      There is a decent amount of light leakage. Significant leakage at the nose and bottom right and left cheek area. The light leakage is actual because the padding doesn't sit flush with the base. I'm using it with the Kiwi pro strap. As with any other situation you kind of forget about the leakage after awhile, but if you are sensitive to leakage this is worse than the original facial interface

      Thanks for commenting Doug.
      I do have to disagree with you though. Especially about the significant leakage at the nose. There is a tiny bit of leakage around the nose but compared to the original interface this new one is loads better. The original has no nose flaps to help block the light like this one does.
      I also didn't notice any light leakage on my cheeks at all and I'm also using the SPC Battery Head Strap by Kiwi.
      I would suggest making sure it is placed on your face correctly to help fix this.

      @@BrianSloanArtist I wish I could post a picture but there is a gap between the two magnetic plates on the side cheek areas where their is no magnets. The gap doesn't compress unless you compress the entire thing on the face. My assumption in this case is manufacturing differences, possibly I just got a B tier mold. I will say this though, it is sooo much more comfortable than the OG faceplate. It's just if you are sensitive to light leakage at least for the unit I received, you will probably not enjoy this. I'd personally like to get the AMVR to see how it compares but I think I will stick with this one until bobovr comes out with a fan integrated interface like on the quest 2.
