Magnets don't need to be as strong, if it's against your face it won't come off. It's easy to take off to clean. In this case switch. It's weird Meta didn't have it magnetic to begin with, it is a pain to take off.

I have the halo strap version, and have no issues at all with the adapter clipping properly into the quest or with the magnets being weak. In fact, if anything, the magnets might be a little too strong! The fact that it comes with 3 interfaces that you can swap in seconds is incredibly useful when you are sharing the headset, and the ability to just effortlessly pull the interface off to run it "bare" for MR with a halo strap is also great.
Good sign that they have such good customer service. The fact that they took in feedback and mailed replacement cushions is also a big thumbs up in my book. I was thinking of getting a new interface for my quest 3 and I've already spent an arm and a leg so it'd be nice to keep the rest of my limbs and just go for the Standard edition of this one. I do wear glasses, but plan on getting prescription lenses (there goes my second arm lol). As always, awesome review.

Not regarding this video specifically, but when testing Q3 accessories, could you check them with a pro controller when applicable? Like the golf clubs, stocks, grips that wouldn't occlude the Pro camera lens.
Mainly just run without a facial interface, but something like this with the quick swap magnet base might be good to have for the rare occasion I felt like using one, seems more convenient than fully snapping in or removing an interface to swap and looked like it didn't extend out far enough to interfere with running without one
I have the standard (halo strap) version of this and can confirm that it works very well floating without the interface attached. The adapter that clips into the headset doesn't get in the way at all when there is no interface installed - it sits very flush with the rim of the quest 3. I really like it for this use case, and for sharing the headset with others (being able to swap between 3 interfaces).
I've got the standard one for my S3 Pro strap & loving it. It was a bit hard to install the base adapter because it was sooo tight, but once in, that baby's not moving!
Fortunately i didn't experience any of the problems you did with light bleed or anything popping off on its own. I actually have my Dad's larger British nose so no light bleed from down below either.
I'm curious to see what their future enhancements will entail. I purchased directly from the Globular Cluster website as I emailed them to get on the waitlist and they messaged me back when a new batch was ready before being released publicly. And then Thomas followed up after I received it to see how I liked it and get any feedback. Awesome customer service! I wouldn't be surprised if they made any future enhancements available to us existing users at no extra charge either.
Simply because they don't wish to charge an arm and a leg, and they very much seem to care about customer feedback, makes me want to order one. I have their version for the PSVR2, it gave me headaches to be honest. But still, companies like THIS need to succeed.

It says in the description that it is NOT compatible with the Meta charging dock
I currently have the stock and it seems a bit scratchy so I'm wanting to change to a different one, how would you compare this magnetic one with the razer Q3 interface for comfort? as I don't live in the US the custom facial scan one is not an option.

Is the standard one okay with the S3 and it's cooling? I have a janky AMVR that I had to trim the top of. The pad also is starting to not staying on near the nose..so definitely looking for a new interface
I ordered blue face interface with vents from AliExpress and it fits my face to the point of sticking to my face without the headset (like that custom one). I found that silicone is annoy me because of constant sliding. Only problem is that interface is a bit longer, so less fov. And S3 fan not quite blowing inside enough, way less than Bobo's F2 did. It's advertised as glass friendly, so it makes sense. Because it's wider it fits better than stock and no longer destroy my cheekbones.

It's because they are making a V2. I refunded my V1 and gave them feedback before this video that is basically exactly what JayBratt found. They asked me to help provide some feedback on a V2 of this. Ultimately it seems like they made this product for to specific of a head shape
How often do you quys do quest three giveaways?

Forget all the problems, it’s the first facial interface that comes with a pair of grips (extenders) which is great. But, that thick padding looks like it takes away the FOV. Great idea to attach with magnets but I could really feel your frustrations. Looks like I’m sticking with the Oblik! AND it’s not compatible with Meta charging dock
I have this. FOV is terrible and the light bleed at the bottom left and right cheeks sucks. Not worth it. And to return it I have to send it back to China soooo just a waste of $40 at this point.

That white replacement part you are using could be the cause? (for the velco strap to go through)

Mine standard for Halo Straps also holds on very well. For me the base part you clip on the headset was kinda fiddly to get on. I have no issues with it coming off ever. Putting the quest on or taking it off it never feels loose or feels like it would just come off. Also no lightbleed from the sides on my unit, only from the top vents (as expected). Not sure if the white velcro thing Jay has on really could be the issue here or if his unit is defective. Maybe an earlier batch? or just a bad batch? Who knows. I've had mine for 3 weeks and no issues whatsoever.

Nah, they just put it out in batches. If you email them they will tell you an estimate date it goes up on amazon. It goes unavailble when its sold out.. until the next batch gets listed of course.
I know this is kind of a weird comment on this video but I bought a Bobo VR headstrap off of ebay and my battery doesn't work I was hoping you might have some answers @jaybratt
Which strap? Was it used or new? I'd contact the seller for replacement or contact Bobo directly if you can't get it working.
