He spoke a bit too much truth for the crowd, but as an outsider looking in, it's a truly bizarre event. For those who don't know, it's a heavily sponsor funded event with a lot of side tents and and sponsor hosted events that some major brands pump a lot of ad/marketing budget into. There are a lot of high value giveaways of expensive products to the celebs that attend as well.
