Some of the features I like that weren't mentioned: The dinette table comes with shorter legs to convert it to a coffee table. The outside kitchen has a pullout counter for a small portable grill or extra prep space. Dual zone climate controls for AC.

Matt should spend more time speaking with the dealership salesperson and reading the brochures so when he's presenting the product he has the knowledge required to be a trusted resource. Currently I suspect he is simply an occasionally laughable comedian.

Replace the Hide-a-Loft mattress with a 6" memory foam mattress, it will work because you do not have to raise the bed all the way up. Yes it will be a bit lower but it is WAY more comfortable. Replace the shower door with one from Shower Enclosures America that bows out 7" to give more room. And folks, that Serenity Mattress is actually really comfortable. We have a Fleetwood Bounder with the same mattress and love it. For the price and what you get not bad at all and an outside kitchen, nice. Now the Bounder driver and passenger seats are very comfortable but they could make the headrest a bit thicker to support your head better. This unit would have the same issue.

I love this Class A, it has a lot of the features that our family would want while traveling round 'Merica.
Love the set-up in both the indoor and outdoor kitchens with lots cabinets and storage. I would change the direction the outdoor door swings though to either the left or swing up so it does not interfere with camping space under the awning.
Since the driver and passenger seat swivel to the living area I would also get rid of the sofa and move the L-shaped dinette there so more room could be added to the bathroom and shower. The TV could still stay on that wall with a swivel arm and have a little more storage below it instead.

Reading the comments, I was surprised to see nothing but positive reviews. I thought everything was done very cheaply... the materials... the fit and finish... I just expected someone to mention that. Poor Andrea couldn't even get the kitchen drawer to pull out and in... that told a lot about how cheaply this thing was built. Sorry so negative... but it is honest.

    3. The dinette, the design and materials look cheaply made.
    4. The limited amount of storage space in the kitchen.
    5. I don’t like the outdoor kitchen but only because it doesn’t have a built in grill, griddle, etc. and there isn’t a place to put one without packing a table for one.

good size, good colors, good layout. Yes, the bed and shower are two high. My husband would not be able to easily step into the shower. Our pup would not be able to jump onto the bed either. He has a stair set that would help, but it would take up some floor space to leave out all the time.

Hi Matt. I have the sister product, the Fleetwood Flair 29M and have to disagree with you on one point. It is on the comfort of the captain seats in front. Initially, sitting in the captain chairs feels very comfy. But for any distance driving, when you are sitting there for several hours at a time, it plays havoc on the back. The bottom cushion is too large and for the legs to hang over the end, the lumbar portion of the back does not make contact with the back of the chair. To solve this problem, I purchased a cushion back rest from Amazon. Now my back has ample support which really extends my driving time and comfort without any stress on my back. My wife feels the same way in the passenger seat if she sits there too long.

I looked at this motorhome when I was shopping and I didn't like the dinette because the L shape is dangerous when someone tries to get in next to the step well where it would not be difficult to trip and fall into the steps. The dinette can be upgraded to a standard dinette instead of the L shape. Another thing is that some of the exterior latches are slam and some are twist type. I ended up buying an Entegra Vision 29S.

This motorhome and its sister, the Fleetwood Flair 29M, could actually be my preferred Class A as I visit national campgrounds often and the outdoor kitchen and unique dinning are ideal. Unfortunately for the last two years due to the very high bed in both units I would never be able to consider it. Hi u two. 1. Really love the layout in living/kitchen area. Matt is absolutely right. We spend the least amount of time at the dinette, so the layout of that dinette is perfect for solo or couple or even a small group cause gives much more living space that way! 2. Colors are great. Finally getting out of 1950 color ranges. 3. Outdoor kitchen
.another perfect addition. Dislikes: 1. The step up into shower is awful. 2. The HUGE height of the bed. Impractical and unsafe for a lot of RV’ers out there
..we’re not all basketball players ya know. And 3: sadly, as much as I love this RV, those 2 dislikes would definitely force a total ‘thumbs down’ on this otherwise perfect RV and I would shop elsewhere. What the RV industry needs to recognize is that us baby boomers value ‘safety’ as much as comfort. And there’s a TON of us purchasing RV’s. We have the money, we’re retiring and we are an important part of profit for this current industry. At 70 years old, a solo senior female, I cannot ever fathom purchasing an RV, (even this really wonderful RV), where I am risking a fall every time I took a shower or got in/out of bed
..let alone those potty breaks in the middle of the night
.
Holiday Rambler, you’ve got a really great product, it’s size is perfect for parks and just maneuvering, but please look at safety concerns cause the majority of ‘buying power’ out there is coming from seniors.

Hi Matt & Andrea: I’m confused. You & other RV reviewers are saying the engine is the new Godzilla but when looking at the specs, it says TRITON. I’m not sure but I think the TRITON V-8 is NEW with the earlier TRITON being a V10 with less MPG than the new V8’s?
    New Triton = 7.3L, V-8, 350 HP & 468 lbs Torque.
    New Godzilla = 7.3L, V-8, 430 HP & 475 LBS of Torque.
ALSO, I discovered that not all RV televisions are the same! I read individual owners complain about not knowing their Televisions in their newly purchased RVs DO NOT have HDMI or Bluetooth. For me, even though it sounds minor, I’d like to know if TVs have HDMI & Bluetooth. I think the Coachman Pursuit is one that a new owner complained about TV along with other pros & cons.
ALSO: great to hear you state cargo carry capacity. For me, the less cargo carry capacity is a game changer. Lots of desirable Class C’s but after adding driver & co-pilot weight, very small cargo carry capacity. So, I’m happy you all state the cargo carry capacity.
Thanks for all the great reviews.

Having the TV over the booth is weird. A lot of people like to watch tv while eating breakfast. They should have had the TV near the front of the coach

Andrea, there is a difference between pocket doors and sliding doors. I've noticed on many reviews that you have referred to sliding doors ad pocket doors, they are not. A pocket door slides out of the middle of two walls/partitions. The walls form a pocket hence the name pocket door. Sliding doors are not between two walls, they simply hang alone and slide out to close a doorway. There is a big difference between the two doors.

Can a stackable washer & dryer be installed in the large closet in the bedroom?!

For this size and all the features, I was surprised at the price. Affordable, to me anyway. I have to agree on the shower step up, not a safe feature and unsure why it is that way. Great review!

Likes: King size bed that looks to be accessible with slides in, bedroom has a real door, outdoor kitchen
Dislikes: shower is odd shape and too small, no pantry and limited kitchen storage, that first rung of the outside ladder is way too high!

I remember when the bounder was "the" entry level mh. I dislike the shower and the door for the ginny. I love the layout. Could this be considered extended stay or full timeable?

Don’t like the ladder, 65+. Owners is a no go. Need recliners, not a sofa, needs a passenger power and swivel. Entry level at 153k. Quality better be there! Latches should be the same

There is NO storage in this RV. We have a similar but different manufacturer we have a huge amount of storage that is absent in this one. Even the kitchen has NO place for pots and pans. The bedroom is missing a lot of cabinets that ours has. It feels like it wasn't well thought out and for $153, 000 not much bang for the buck.
