Everyday is for the yogurt "Maeil Bio"; Gleam is for the glass company "Davich" (you can hear in the chorus that they sing "dabich na na oh dabich na" which is a word play with the company's name that can also be read as "everything gleams"); and the last, Wanna be Myself, is for the sports/street wear company "Andar". The subs were not wrong in "Gleam", it was actually Solar singing but the MV had Wheein in the shot, but it is Solar's voice. Thanks for the reaction.
To add to that, they also had wordplay in Wanna Be Myself! Since its a sportswear for 'Andar' they had a lyrics 'An dareuda neowa nan an dareuda' which means 'Not different. You and i are not different'. 'An dar'euda basically translated to 'not different'

The way I’ve been a moomoo since 2018, listened to these promo songs religiously, yet never knew this is beyond me 😂
They hit so hard because they treat the commercials as if they were real MVs and they treat their MVs as if they were Movies.
Gleam, Wanna Be Myself, and Woo Hoo have NO business being so good for ads, it's actually ridiculous. Cosmic's sound is so recognizable, and paired with Mamamoo it's always an incredible treat, they fill out these retro vibes to perfection (also count of them to add clever wordplay to insert the company's name in their ads). The fact that WBM is also an absolute feast visually is just chef's kiss (YT has been eating half of my comments I think lately so who knows if this one will disappear too lmao)🤘

When Wanna Be Myself was released, we all thought it was a surprise pre-single, we were all lost, then we discovered it was commercial, it was so successful that RBW decided to sell the single album physically.
Mamamoo's CF songs are top tier✨ and they all have potentials to be title track😊
Some of the scenes from the "gleam" mv always remind me of one of solar's collabs that somehow always manages to fly under the radar. The song is "honey bee" and it is her, luna from f(x) and hani from exid
The whole 'they're all dating the same person' thing was a standard trope in 2nd gen/early 3rd gen MVs 😂 My guess is it cut down on the cost of hiring more actors. Plus it was slightly less likely to make the possessive fans have a jealous tantrum than if they hired different actors for each member
The subs were not wrong in Gleam, but sometimes a different member is lipsyncing in the MV to whose voice is actually singing (just to make things confusing 😂)
😊 it's Cosmic Sound as well as Cosmic Girl. They are a producing/songwriting duo who work a lot with Mamamoo. All their songs are top tier. Remember the "cosmic" whisper when you hear Mamamoo (& their solo) b-sides 😂

The 'cosmic' audio tag is for a duo: cosmic sound is a composer/producer who does the music for the songs and cosmic girl is a singer/songwriter who writes the songs (and is a former kpop idol, herself). The two seem to always work together and cosmic girl loves using wordplay in her lyrics, esp working the name of the brand these cf songs are for into the song lyrics
Solar has a song with cosmic girl, "lieya", and has several medleys with her in her youtube channel. Cosmic girl also shows up in a show where people had to pick the real hwasa from hwasa impersonators just from hearing them sing
Gleam will always be that song that just hypes you up whenever you hear it.
There's a cover by HWASA &SOLAR as sub units called ''save me from my self ''..
Gleam randomly came up on my Spotify and I had no idea it was a commercial until I searched out the MV and saw how many references to glasses there were. It's so good!

Haha, it almost take me 2 years to watch mamamoo when I started to follow them since WAW area, now I still continue to watching them, almost 3 years, they have some many contents to see. Just can’t get enough of them. Do watch when they went for variety show like weekly idol, there is 3 episode that they went, you will laugh die. Plus show time where they join Gfriend.
I don't have a lot of certainties in my life, but one thing I'm sure of is Gleam is never leaving my favorite songs playlist.
Also, I feel the need to tell you they sang it live a couple of times, and it's really good so I recommend you check it out at some point
When I heard Gleam and Woo Hoo were commercial songs I couldn't believe it either, Mamamoo have seriously amazing CF songs, it's insane

They're all CF songs. Everday is a CF for a company called Maeil. Maeil Bio is their yoghurt brand. Fwiw it's one of my least favorite MMM songs. The MV features former Oneus member Ravn.
Gleam and Wanna Be Myself were produced by the co-ed team of Cosmic Sound & Cosmic Girl, who were also behind Woo Hoo and a bunch of MMM b-sides. Cosmic Girl is a former member of the gg Rania and she's an excellent singer and songwriter.
Korean CF songs are a different beast than western ad jingles. It's more of a creative partnership or product placement where the artist does their thing while incorporating the corporate message in their song.
Yeah, Wanna Be Myself is for a clothing company and yes, that's disco in the chorus. It's so reminiscent of Gloria Gaynor's I Will Survive it turns me off and it's another of my least fav MMM songs. I survived the original disco era and hate the trend in kpop. It's one of the major reasons I dislike many kpop songs in the last few years. Gag me as the valley girls used to say.
The commercials they do are insanely good. I know some of the songs like woo hoo for G5 they would sing live in concert. yes yogurt commercial, eyewear and womens clothing. Another insane one is the Pikachu song. Was a promotion at one of their fan events and for promoting pokemon but the insane vocals in that, moonbyul belting, solar and wheein rap it is insane. the TV show OSTs are also just as insanely good and I have watched some of the TV shows, like adrenaline(solar). basically if any member of mamamoo or mamamoo does an OST, just watch it, it will be extremally good. basically if mamamoo says buy it, I will buy it. Yes Cosmic Girl (and cosmic sound) are a pair who write the lyrics and music for many mamamoo songs and solos as one is on Solar's face album Cosmic Girl wrote about Moonbyul and Solar. If you want to see how good a singer Cosmic Girl is, she does a few videos with Solar on Solarsido, duets of singing many songs in a medley usually as fast as they can do it in a few minutes.

Yes whenever it says Cosmic at the beginning of the song it's produced by cosmic girl and always amazing. I'm still not over her writing a song on Solar and Moonbyuls relationship for Solars solo album.
"Everyday" (매일 봐요; known as "Maeil Bio" in Korea) is a promotional single by MAMAMOO. It was released on March 30, 2018 as a CF song for Maeil Bio yogurt.
The Guy in the first track is either a member of Oneus or Onewe before debut. there is another called woo hoo, it's Mamamoo at their best and yes it's an ad.

Frankly speaking, Mamamoo's CF songs are better than half of the title tracks some kpop groups put out. Yes, this is including Sky! Sky! (I know the fandom hates the MV, but the song is a bop)😎

MMM really has good cf songs. Everyone thought MMM had a comeback when they released Gleam. Wanna Be Myself was even nominated for a music show after it was released.

I don't think everyday is very good. Gleam sounds good but the lyrics at least make it clearly an ad. Wanna be Myself is way too good to be a commercial. It sounds awesome, and the lyrics are still really cool regardless of it being and ad.
