Actually MAMAMOO is my One and Only favourite kpop group, theQueens of live vocal, they were lipsyncing only twice during their 10 years career. No one can compare with them
I'll just say that if you want to know why Mamamoo are known as the vocal queens of K-pop you have to watch two videos, The Killing Voice and Inmortal Songs Medley, both of them are them singing live.
FINALLY!! You, sir, have no idea where you're getting yourself into! Mamamoo are powerhouses! They're unquestionably amongst the greatest vocalists in kpop and Moonbyul, the rapper whose voice you loved, is the most credited female songwriter in all of kpop history. Don't worry.. all of their songs are fire and they have a catalogue with almost 400 songs for you to listen to at your pleasure.
Egotistic, Aya, and their Killing Voice. Mamamoo is amazing live too... And yes, I love that they have a more mature sound and choreo. You'll love them.

Mamamoo is known for extreme vocal talent, Live. I saw them last June here in Los Angeles and they really can sing that well live. Solar is also my favorite singer in the world, though all 4 of them are perfect singers. Every song is great to unbelievable, watch both MVs and Live performances. MVs are very well produced and some are hilarious, and the live performances are just a must hear. They do every genre, they do solos, collabs, covers, OSTs and more. They have you tube channels, Solar's Solarsido is the most active(michael jackson cover, acapellas and more). There is also mamamoo+ which is a subgroup of 2 of them and there are over 400 videos to react too, have fun.

I highly highly highly recommend checking out Mamamoo's Killing Voice next, it's a great way to get a teaser for many of their greatest songs, PLUS they sound PHENOMENAL live! Mamamoo were the group that got me into kpop, and what's great is that each member also has amazing solo music as well!

Mamamoo are incredible! There’s so much good content from the both on and off stage. Their immortal songs, killing voice, and purple hawke guide are musts!
Wheein and Solar are considered some of the best vocalists in south korea and moonbyul is one of the most credited female rappers in kpop. The girls story is veryy inspirational and they are highly respected in the industry to where most koreans view them not just as kpop idols but as artists!

Mr. Ambiguous’s all the people mentioned by name are famous people in their fields some are signers and producers but the other were staff, and the fact that HIP is literally a slap to people who keep on criticizing them on everything they do especially Hwasa hence the airport outfit mentioned in the MV makes this song 100x hotter than it already is, 1,2,3 Eoi!! Is a wacky song of Mamamoo to their fans as the phrase “1,2,3 Eoi” is Mamamoo’s Cheer before preforming, and the phrase “ I say Mama Mama Moo “ is how the introduce their self, as for Illella is simply such a banger

I will go against the grain. For a similar playlist I would do piano man, your the best, 1cm, and egotistic. They should evoke the same feelings as the first four. For bonus, do a ballad ‘paint me’

The Prank played on them... their Faces are priceless. What makes it so funny is that Baek Jiyoung IS a well know Singer and Actress in South Korea, and the members didn't reconize her. Solar was taking it the hardest, being the leader.
In fact “Mr. Ambiguous” features some of K-Pop’s hottest stars, including Wheesung, K.Will, Rhymer, Bumkey, Jung Joon Young, and CNBLUE’s Lee Jong Hyun.

Thanks for the reaction! Mamamoo is the vocal queens of kpop. Also their live stages are insanly good. I hope you check out their concert stages too so you can see what they are live too. MAMA 2019 Mamamoo is still the most watched and most talked stage. So give it a try. (Its almost 20 min long) Also their 4s4c concert stages are must watch stages too. I suggest MY STAR and PAINT ME. (Thats the opening song for their concert with Moonbyul rewriting her own part with rap in it) for MV's decalcomanie and gogobebe. (Ofc killing voice too but i'm sure everyone already told you that lmao )

Purple Hawke guide is a much watch- someone else linked it here. For song recs- going in order in always a good idea, but the four seasons project (paint me, starry night, egotistic, wind flower, and gogobebe) is also a fun place. Other classic title tracks are um oh ah yeh, youre the best, and decalcomanie. Oh also, they all have a lot of solo stuff out. That could be a good place to begin to get to recognize and know the members and their styles individually.
Also want to mention the famous mama (?) performance of hip- it was the most viewed mama performance EVER until mnet "accidentally" deleted it and reuploaded it last year.

YESS! I was about to recommend the purple hawke guide- even though it is a few years old now, it is still the best guide I've seen for any group ever. Its fantastically edited and you can tell that the creator really cared about what they were creating and really loves mamamoo. You really get a sense of their personalities.

I’m so glad you love illella so much it’s so underrated & I def blame it on their company’s shitty ass promo. Anyways these are definitely not their 4 best songs there’s still so much good stuff left like mamamoo do not know how to make a *bad* song. 1,2,3 eoi was literally only a b-side to illella & I consider the other song L.I.E.C the best one in that album!!
