Columbus is a beautiful mid sized city. It's 107 miles southwest of Atlanta and 80 miles east of Montgomery Alabama and 182 miles north of Panama City Florida. Great outdoors type city that's close to everything within a 3hrs drive.

The waterfront has definitely changed - for the better. I lived in Columbus in the late 90’s early 2000’s. Back then the waterfront was ‘Deadville’, nothing going on. Also, I could count the Hispanic people on two hands. There weren’t a lot of Hispanics back then. I’m glad to see an increase in the Hispanic population in Columbus. Columbus is a nice place. While I don’t overly miss Columbus ( complicated family matters), I appreciate your video.

I've been to that park right where you were walking and the area you came from first if you looked up there's a platform that they attached a cable to you and you jump and you go across to the other side to another platform Crossing all that water. It's near a college and that area you were walking in his actually you have the old Water Dam or whatever it's called right over there where those rolling Rapids were and you see those boaters that would go down the river and take the Rapids is a company that you can actually pay and do that yourself if you wish to. North Columbus is a much nicer area to live at least so the locals will tell you and so it looks they got malls and many of the stores that you have in very big cities and it definitely beats Lehigh Acres diversity restaurants, places to shop and eat and stay, etc. I loved getting this chance to see it again Jose. @@groovykindoflove8055Phenix is a smaller town, but it’s about 5 minutes out from Columbus, rent is dirt cheap, but wages are cheaper in turn. I’m currently trying to finish a bachelors in Columbus state university, and then see where life takes me haha. Unless you have experience getting remote work, or you have a bachelors or a career most full time jobs in this area pay 14, 15 an hour. Crime is an issue but truthfully I do not encounter it and I live in a high poverty area, most people stay in their lane, or are just friendly, but I hear a lot about smash and grabs out of cars, and the occasional gunshot isn’t too uncommon but that’s most of southern america from my time traveling around it. Overall, I’m having a better time here than I ever would living to the last dime, or going into negatives/bankrupt trying to live in Miami.
