- This week focuses on chasing kingfish, we believe beginning of good fishing season is coming. I ve been fishing light and ultralight past month with good result in sydney harbour. Many times I encounter bigger fish during ultralight fishing session, got bullied most of the time especially on wharf. So this week I hunt for a payback, aiming only kingfish by sydney harbour. Results is not too bad😀
Today is the last day of lockdown, i hope no more to come, lets head out with our fishing gear out of 5KM🤘🏻

I plan to target some Kingies here in Adelaide over summer. I don't like music overpowering videos, I find it annoying, but I am not- going to complain when the content is so good. very inspiring, and shows how simple fishing can be if you make some good basic decisions. I really liked the start where you showed how to check the top, the Bottom and the middle. I think many people would just cast a lure and retrieve over and over. While casting a lure as many times as possible will give you a better chance of catching a fish than just hitting a spot for 10 minutes, searching the depth is a really good way of finding the fish. Most people dont know the fish are usually around.. they just don't disappear. so this approach really resonates with me. Thank you for sharing, I never get tired of seeing great fish get landed!

Great video man, how long is the rod you where using? And would a 7ft rod be good enough for kingfish,samon and jewfish shore jigging?
My rod is 10ft. Personally I think For 7ft is good for soft plastic for landbase and boating. For jigging better 10 ft with hard tip.

Hey man I got smoked by kings or sharks or what ever that kept on eating my yakka 8 time, 8 TIMES so I am gonna upgrade my gear, was looking at the saltist hyper stickbaiter S792-4/6 with a 8000 Saltist MQ with PE 4 j braid, how about that as a Sydney harbour land based heavy live bait set up?

where is this fishing spot and how to get there??? I saw a video where they were catching squids off of Pier 1 & 2 and went there to check it out while I was visiting Sydney. there were a bunch of school kids fishing and wasn't catching much. on my next trip, I would like to check out your fishing spot. btw, nice Stella fishing reel ......

How heavy should a land based jigging reel be for kings, bonito salmon mactuna in the harbor?
At least 4000 bro. With leader 25-50lb should suffice.

@@jzfishing103 oh sorry I thought the lure haha. 400 is fine as long you are comfortable. Usually the reel weight for 4000 around 280-400g.
