Nice to hear from you again! My spending has been not bad so far this year. I bought not one, but three (!) uniball one P pens, just because I liked the look of them, a few stickers and a ream of Clairefontaine cream copy paper bc I read it will work with fountain pens. In total about €56. I haven’t had time to test the copy paper yet, so fingers crossed. 🤞
Thank you for commenting 😊 Oh, I hope the paper works out 🤞🏻 I have Clairefontaine 90g white copy paper. I bought it years ago because of the smoothness. I did a quick test this morning, but sadly that doesn't work with fountain pens. At least not with my Kakuno EF and Platinum Pigment Sepia - it feathered. I would be interested to hear if the cream paper works.
Thank you for commenting 😊 Yeah, we are very few - or then we are just hard to find amongst the huge crowd here 😅 But it seems you are not located in Finland? We don't have here any shops where to walk in and buy Traveler's Company goodies...
Welcome back, I missed you! I think there's nothing wrong with a bit of retail therapy here and there, and you've bought a lot of versatile things that still might serve you in the future, so I'd say it was a success. I recently bought myself my first Platinum Preppy and I absolutely LOVE IT, although it's a bit too thick in 0.3 size, I'll probably buy another one in 0.2. Where did you buy yours? the pink one is so pretty 💞
Thank you, it's nice to be back 😊 Yeah, I think I will use all of those things someday. Now just wasn't the right time 😅 Congrats on your first Preppy. I really love them as simple no fuss fountain pens. It depends so much of the ink and paper which nib size is the right one, so it really is just trial and error to find the right combos. Sadly there is less color options in the EF/02 size. I think the limited/special editions only come in F/03. At least the Sakura was only available in F. EF you can get in blueblack, black and red. I have bought mine from Stilo&Stile. They have Hobonichi and fountain pens and inks so it's a nice place to shop 😬😅
Lovely to hear your chat… I am very susceptible to good deals 😅 it’s hard not to shop in general but also the online ordering and getting to free shipping 😣 sigh!
Thank you for commenting 😊 I know what went wrong with the second order on the 1st of February. It was late in the evening and I was just trying to finish it. I should have slept on it which is one of my rules 🫣 And maybe sometimes it is better to pay for shipping - especially if the limit to free shipping is very high 😬
Thank you for this excellent question. I just put a pull on the community page. Let's see if others are also interested, so then I could do a video about this. If not, I will get back to you. 😘
This was such a nice, mellow video. I really enjoyed it! ❤
Thank you so much for your kind comment ❤️ I'm grateful to hear you enjoyed it 😊

@@Katiplansgood points, the free shipping just makes me spend more usually
I was just wondering if you use a percentage of income or some calculation for how much you want to budget for stationery monthly?
