Good informative video. Thanks for posting, about to undertake the same, but on an older Version. Watching your video has reassured me that it is well within DIY territory
Glad it was helpful! Be aware, the original bump stops on mine unscrewed easily - joys of a new van! Older ones may be rusty and have been known to come loose leaving a spinning captive nut.... So perhaps research this (and work arounds) before starting. Good luck
@@Ryan_DYD Yes thanks, my beast is a 2005 model, I had decided to have a tentative attempt at unscrewing before I fully commit.☺ Mine does at least have the galvanized chassis, so I'm hoping it will still be reasonable
These will help with the rear sagging and raise it up a bit and improve driveability - but won't increase load capacity. Just be aware, its a simple job (depending on the bracket of the kit you use) - but on 2016 its possible/probable the captive nut that the current suspension helper is fixed to is rusted. Perhaps spray that with penetrating oil or the like every day for a week before (don't spray brakes!!). If this hut sheers it then becomes a pain in the backside to remove. Do some research first. Hope for best, plan for worst..... Good luck!
I really wouldn't recommend having different pressures each side it will affect the vans handling. The same way replacing only one leaf spring on an axle would (one nice new spring and one soft worn spring.)
Hi, Yes, working well. I've set the pressure and not needed to adjust - and it drives fine. No cons really - and the van drives as well as you'd expect and little body roll. (I added before adding the weight, so can't comment how much it would roll without it, but others have installed this and similar kit and say it makes a huge difference). Cheap and good upgrade.
Hi, Sorry, you are right - I can't see it either. I bought item "184363345399" title "AIR SUSPENSION KIT FIAT DUCATO 1994-2019 " from eBay seller WKR LTD eBay seller ID robrob444 - but can't see them on there any more . Googling (as ebay search didn't work - I found www.ebay.co.uk/str/airsuspensionkit which is the same user ID - also found kitbrandnew.com/en/air_suspension_kit_with_12v_compressor_citroen_relay_motorhome_recovery.php which may be of use. May be worth contacting the guy direct on ebay? Good luck!
Great video very informative but the music in the background really irritates me, it’s probably because of my hearing issues. But thanks for taking the time to post.
Its not your hearing. I'm a DIYer and not a youtube expert or any good making videos. I've learned, future videos have the background almost silent. Sorry :(
@@Ryan_DYD Thanks for the comment, I don’t like to criticise - I wouldn’t have the first clue how to make, edit or post videos so I’m very grateful that people like yourself take the time to post videos in the first place. Take care
@@SF-ei8df Not a problem. If people didn't tell me I wouldn't have fixed it on later videos. Lets be honest - I've never watched any of my own - just slung them up here lol so would never have known!
100% agree, I'm not a content maker, just some guy doing an odd video that may benefit others (if I could not find one myself on a particular topic). But blimey, so many complaints on the backing track! Subsequent videos have it almost muted ;) (It needs something but choice/skills limited and I my time was building the van :) Hope the content was useful even if your ears bleed :)
Yeah, sorry, I'm not a content maker so it is what it is. Subsequent videos have the music much much quieter so don't let that put you off if the content is of interest to you. (PS - almost 4y on the suspension has been perfect)
lol. Yeah, can't argue that. Later build videos had it much more lower volume. But hey, I'm a normal guy trying to help others by providing info - and I'm not a CZcamsr. Hopefully the content and mute button makes up for it.

Thank you for sharing. I’m about to do this on my 2016 van ‘The Mouse House’
It’s a Ducato thing apparently the rear suspension will need an upgrade.

Hello :) Guess you figured my ID there :)

maybe take the volume down a little on your intro/outro music heheh :)
Noted! I did think it was a bit in your face when I knocked it up last night, but I was tired lol. Will do so on future. Thanks :)
Nice video but why have the annoying background music ?
Thought it was a good idea at the time lol. Future videos have it vvvvvvvvv quiet to be less annoying after a few other complaints. You live n learn
Annoying audio loop in the background, not necessary mate. Otherwise all good😊
