- We continue traveling to the south of Taltal, in search of Copiapoa grandiflora with the largest flowers of the Copiapoa genus, longistaminea with some of the most beautiful new spines, and several other neighbors such as Copiapoa columna alba and Eulychnia breviflora.
We will also be discussing the importance of conservation of endemic species, and protecting their natural ecosystems.

Wild cactus are so beautiful.
They are really amazing ❤️
This is so beautiful, must really be something to be there✨
It was a dream of many years for me ❤ Thanks for watching!
13:00 What an amazing site. Thank you for the video.
Tqvm for a great video. I'm a great admirer of cactus and succulents, coming frm equatorial rain forest Malaysia!! Despite d rainfall, I've managed to hav a good enough collection of both species. It's been my dream to visit these cacti in their natural habitat, but I know it's not dat easy to do so since there r very few tour groups, if any, dat arrange for such tours.
Now, with health being an issue with me, I can only watch such videos in wonder in d comfort of my home! 😅 Admire u for your dedication in preserving these rare plants.
You’re very welcome, I’m glad my videos can take you a bit closer to these beautiful plants. I think that getting people to fall in love with their ecosystems as a whole is the only way to save them 💚🌵
Very beautyful cactus in Chili❤
What a great adventure, well done. The Copiapoa Culumna Alba is a world beauty jewel which is not jet so appreciated. Also the importance to appreciate and the conservation of the natural habitat around us. The gift of God for all.
Thanks so much! And welcome to the channel 🌵🙏🏽
Wonderfully made video my friend😊🙏💖🌟
Thank you very much! 🌵🌵
Your videos are so nice and relaxing, and educational you could make them 30/45 minutes would be nice too. I moved from temperate climate to desert climate, so I would like to learn how to grow cactus and other plants I can grow well here.
Noted! Thank you for watching 🙂
Thank you very much for a beautiful and impactful video!
I am blown away by the cinematic quality of your video.
And thank you very much for high lighting the problem with poaching, habitat destruction and climate change :)
With kind regards
Thomas
Im glad you enjoyed it Thomas! More to come 🌵😎
Wow, those C. longistaminea clusters are incredibly beautiful. With the yellow flowers surrounded by red spines, they almost seem to glow.
Another fantastic video, thank you!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it 🌵
Wow, what a brilliantly beautiful video, it makes me want to go back to Chile and see some of these plants in habitat for myself.
So nice of you, thank you! 🇨🇱
Brilliant film again Manuel 😎😎🌵You are so right about it being "other worldly" Wow 🙂🙂🌵🌵
Like landing on mars! 😍😂
Wow.
This is the first time I have viewed your channel.
I hope to visit often.
These habitat videos are so important to us all.
I have seen plants of Copiapoa here in Australia that were originally collected in Chile and sold via US nurseries.
This was over 40 years ago, and as you know, not all collected plants survive, and Copiapoa are generally very slow growing.
Many of those imported plants would probably have died.
I believe the importation of Copiapoa plants into Australia is now prohibited under C.I.T.E.S. protocols which Australia has signed up to.
Seed is probably allowed for import, but no plants.
My first viewing of a Copiapoa here in Australia was Copiapoa cinerea.
I have loved them ever since.
Hi Geoff! Welcome and thank you for watching. I too saw cinerea first of all Copiapoa and fell in love. I’m glad Australia is part of cites and I wish countries like China and Thailand would join as well!
You have amazing content on your channel! Excellent videos and gorgeous cacti 🤠
Thank you so much! Welcome to the channel 📺🤓
Good VDO..Thank you🙏🌻💖
Absolutely superb as always, well done!🌵👍
So nice of you, thanks for watching!

Thanks much great video
Glad you enjoyed it, you’re welcome!

สวยมากๆ👍👍👍🌵🌵🌵💚💚💚
Outstanding
Thank you! And thanks for watching 🤓
Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!
Hey, your videos are so well done, I wonder if you've had some formal training. Very professional.
Thanks so much! I have had CZcams education hahaha but my girlfriend is a cinematographer and often holds the camera 🎥
Я❤🌵
I love 🌵 too! ❤
Atleast you should take some water sprayers and spray them instead of boring
That would kill them since it wasn’t the growing season. If you find these videos boring, you don’t have to watch them. I go through lots of work and sacrifice to make them so you can watch for free and then criticize 😊
@@RareCactus not boring at all!
@@gazepskotzs4 thank you! 🙏🏽 I’m glad you enjoy them 🌵
No entiendo ingle
Hola aquí está nuestro canal en español: youtube.com/@cactuseando1
Never before has documentation of this grandeur been made about cacti in habitat. The shots at the 14:30 mark are incredibly cinematic. 10/10 my new favorite video 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks so much 🤩🌵 We try to do right by these beauties and show as much of their beauty as we can 🤓
Is it legal to plant home grown cacti into the wild ?? If so it would be cool to work with D.N.R.C. and grow plants in greenhouse from seed and selectively plant them in areas needing replanting !!😮
Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you!
