Snuggerud has the old Ovechkin strategy of toe-dragging the puck to maneuver it in-line with the center of the defenseman’s body, then snapping it between the d-man’s legs. Goalies hate that, because they can’t see the release and a lot of crazy deflections go off the d-man.
Goalie was not playing his angles very well. He kept cheating in anticipation of a pass and gophers were snapping it by him
