- With all eyes on them in a national TV spotlight, Jimmy Garoppolo and the San Francisco 49ers blew a 10-point halftime lead as the Tennessee Titans escaped with a 20-17 win. Garoppolo threw one of his two picks in the second half and also had a turnover on downs late in the third quarter as San Francisco's playoffs hopes may now be in danger. Shannon Sharpe, who was big on the Niners as a threat in the NFC, and Skip Bayless discuss how much faith they lost in them after Jimmy G's second half performance.

Jimmy is a good QB. Every QB throws interceptions.. it's just the MOMENTS he turns it over. He consistently will also waaayyyy overthrow a receiver. He's in his own head and I don't know if he can overcome it. That being said..next season needs to be Trey's time. I really want to see what the kid can do at a pro level.

With a loaded and talented offense at his disposal, a year of learning behind him, and dual-threat capabilities, he will make this offense even more dangerous as a result.

Look at how Zach Wilson and Justin Fields are turning out because they started playing their first season instead of sitting and learning, then playing a year or two later. It’s not unreasonable and may have saved their careers. Now we don’t know what to expect from either of them moving forward. I realize the situation they’re in doesn’t help either, but that makes it even more of a good reason to sit them for at least a season. Put some more talent behind that offense, give them time to learn and integrate themselves into the system fully, then let them play.

From Kezar Stadium, to the “greatness” of Candlestick Park into the new house of Levi’s Stadium. Born & raised in “The City” (Haight/Ashbury). This is one of the most frustrating seasons EVER! That mess against the Titans is exactly why they traded up for Tre Lance...who has a unbelievable high ceiling & the perfect Head Coach in Kyle Shanahan to develope his multi skill set properly. A sure way to tell if your QB is going to make it in the NFL is if they drop their shoulder into a tackle. If he does thus then kiss your future goodbye. They will be good for a few years, 3 at best, then they fall off a cliff and your entire offense with him
