One idea. Why don't you mount to the ceiling a sort of roller blinds painting spraybooth just to avoid the Dexter-like preparations each time you have something to be spray painted. It would be nice to watch an episode in which you prepare such roller blinds of your construction.

Don't nail the toe kick in. Will create a headache if you ever have problems with the dishwasher in the future. Use some rare earth magnets to secure it. This way it's easy to remove if ever the need arises.
From a plumber who has done many, many, many dishwasher installs. Well done!

    • @eubie67

Sometime ago I replaced my dishwasher after removing the toe kick and removed the nails that I used the first time in order to replace the unit, I just wedged the toe kick back in place. First I thought that I was lazy but it turned out that it was the best thing to do because later on the wife had the bright idea to replace the old floor.

At 27:00 you can see your fujispray in the background and the air intake "filter" has a green tinge to it, dry paint particles can get back into your air supply and will travel through the gun and get onto your sprayed surface, I try to keep my spray unit as far away from where i'm spraying as I can to limit this.

I just did a whole office remodel with built int cabinets and did the Dexter Style booth for the big parts one weekend. After I wanted to pull our cars back into the garage (shop is in the 3rd car bay) I realized I was not going to do that again. I bought the biggest spray tent I could find. Total. Game. Changer. Tents up in 20 minutes and I am painting in another 10 after that. The last 6, of the 17 total, doors go on tomorrow, all painted in the tent on a folding table.

Something that applauds your woodworking skills but also your mastery of capturing the narrative. But I can't. I can never find the words that aren't cliche or just glib compliments like "excellent" or "fantastic".
I reckon it doesn't even matter if you were reading a children's book or the manual for a dishwasher you have the gift of making it interesting and engaging. Thank you for your work, for your humour, for what you do. The foreman doesn't know how lucky he is.

I feel you on the instructions thing. I work in a cabinet shop and I'll say 80% of the time the "instructions" are so chock full of typo's and incorrect measurements it's better to play the game and freestyle it. We had a pull out insert thing a few weeks ago where it had 2 smooth mating surfaces and the instructions only showed them going together with a "CLICK". If by click they meant epoxy...sure.

I had the same problem with the instructions being wrong, but,,,, my dishwasher was brand new out of the box!!!! I think they just print an instruction sheet for the 1st one and when a change comes about, they don't worry about making the change on the instructions!!!
