Pro tip for ranging: get ftl from the SL. Mark targets and then use the map to estimate the range (if the SL cannot give you the range at that point in time) e.g. the line from you to the target is a 2/3 of the box on the map, and if one box is 100m, it is roughly 60m. If the target covers 2 big boxes and 2/3 of a box, then it is around 260m
If you can hear the enemy vehicle very very loudly, it is in most cases going to be less than 100m.

There is currently a strong glitch/bug with the SMAW where you can fire 2-3 rockets in about a second.
This uses the fact that there is no reload time in between a rocket and the spotting rifle.
1:Fire duel purpose rocket
2:Press 3 to quick switch to spotting rifle
3:Press 3 again to switch to HE Anti-Armor and fire that
Also if you hip fire it, it duplicates the HE Anti-Armor about half the time so you can fire it again without any reloading.

I had a terrible round as a HAT and wanted to watch this guide to learn what I did wrong. Basically, nothing, just our tactics and some confused and unaware squad members were at fault. Also, the enemy MBT squads were just monsters, brutally good, can't deny that. But what angers me is that we were about to destroy an enemy radio. I realise just now I could have shot it with my RPG-28 instead of taking their logi out.
But thanks to your video, when I ever try to re-learn the class I know what to do and keep in mind. Thank you very much.

Extremely important detail about NLAW omitted: the round dips immediately after leaving the launch tube before engaging its engine, meaning it is possible to hear the embarassing arming distance fwoosh when firing next to low walls or firing from prone/crouched position because the missile fell out of the tube like a big potato and hit the ground/wall/accursed small rock in front of you despite the barrel of the launcher being perfectly clear of obstacles.
The guide calls NLAW the most advanced kit of them all, but it is arguably the worst out of them, with PLOS being anywhere from extremely unreliable to downright useless (vehicle driving diagnally to you will render it useless, and OWI is for some reason insistent on keeping PLOS the default fire mode), while Direct Attack flies slowly in a single line - meaning a vehicle behind a small wall is actually harder to hit with NLAW than it is with any other launcher (which almost all have a pronounced arc trajectory), as well as making it much harder to land hits on moving vehicles, something its supposed to excel at with PLOS (but doesnt).
tl;dr NLAW is a massive noob trap with a ton of downsides and should've been talked about in more detail as it remains the HAT kit with the lowest success rate after RPG7 tandem.

The more people it helps to understand, the more useful the kit/role becomes.
by the way im pretty sure the mawws can actually be used for more than 500 meters as the indicators on the scope add a extra 100m to whatever range you have set with the ranging feature
You can technically get it to hit 1000 meters, by zeroing it to 500 and then using the 500m mark, but it's not very accurate

I don’t recommend Jensen’s X-ray view, it’s not kept up to date with new Vics and has some components disjointed. There are a few armor training workshop mods that have X-ray models for the vics that are much better

Javelin isn't in Squad, and I don't think it ever will be
