Some facts about cinnamon:1- it's dried bark of Cinnamomum zeylanicum trees Family: lauraceae
2- it contains many active constituents but the main one is cinnamic aldehyde in addition to tannins and mucilages
3- it's used medicinally as hypotensive agent due to vaso-dilating effect of cinnammic aldehyde , it's also used as astringent due to tannins and of course as condiment and spice

I was skeptical too, thinking it'd be a waste of cinnamon. But the result is haunting, surreal, otherworldly -- which is not how we usually describe jars. Very cool piece!

From the time you poured over the cinnamon sticks, I could not see how this was going to turn out very nice. Well, SHUT MY MOUTH (as they say in the south)... this is one of the prettiest outcomes I've seen anywhere. What a genius you are to have seen that ahead of time! Do you sell these ever?
