I was a practicing bisexual for 25 years. I thought I was born like that. I thought God made me like that. I thought it wasn’t possible to be any other way but once I truly surrendered my life to Jesus 3 years ago, he saved me. I no longer look at men or women the same. He delivered me from lust, depression and suicidal tendencies. He’s restored everything in my life. I will never go back. I will praise him for the rest of my days. I’ve never felt so free with peace and joy. His love is unexplainable and you have to experience it for yourself to understand. If you know, you know💗

The moment you realise it's just lust and not the true love God intended, it just clicks. A lot of that lifestyle is taught nowadays, and if it pleasures the flesh regardless of how sinful it is, your flesh clings on. When you realise that you are controlled by the addiction of temporary joy upon your flesh about a non-natural concept, you realise the true path Christ intended. May God bless you, for you have turned to the right path and repented ❤✝️☦❤

A better example than greed would be heterosexual sexual sin. I like that example because gay people hear "change an attraction you can't change," but really, it's just like me, a married man, having an attractive woman cross my path, but choosing not to look her up and down, undress her in my mind, dwell on her, etc. because to do so is outside of what God calls good.
My "natural desire that I cannot change" might be to oggle and fool around with all sorts of women that aren't my wife, but it's not about desire, but I'm to abstain from that because it's not permitted just as gay relationships aren't permitted.
It's not about "gay bad". It's about what is and isn't within what God permits us to do.

Fasting (water only, the abstinence of food and calories) will bring your body, desires, will, emotions and thoughts under submission to God, and praying while fasting (and reading God's word) will transform and deepen your relationship with God. It will also begin to heal things in your body, especially if you go for a longer fast of 7+ days. @@joeasmara844 Not quite. You are referencing a common debate: is salvation only by faith, or also by works.
The answer to the dilemma is very simple:
As Christ said, Only through faith in Him do you reach the Father.
However, we are also taught "faith without works is dead" - if you don't follow Christ's teachings, if you do not love thy neighbour, respect thy parents, aid those in need, forgive, be altruistic, following Christ's message... is your faith in Christ really true?
TL;DR: although it's easy to fall into the mistake of thinking salvation by faith and by works is seperate... they aren't. They're like two sides of the same coin. If you don't have one, the other falls apart. You can't be saved by one or by both... because they are the same thing!

On that alone I wouldn’t follow Islam, not because I see it as bad but it’s our effort over God’s mercy. I believe that we should all be sent to hell because we are all sinners that have been separated from God, but Jesus’ salvation was given as a gift not as a reward. And I wanted to ask that question because the people that have wrote the original Bible (written in Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic, etc) was written by people that saw Jesus die and then other’s saw him again after his death. Compared to prophet Mohammed that wrote that his death was a lie a long time after. I am also a firm believer in Christ because of the things he has done for me on a personal level, he has performed so many miracles in my life that I know aren’t from humans but from God.

I do know that you probably won’t take this to heart because you don’t believe in the Bible being credible but this verse was directed at that time to people trying to say that salvation should be earned, that it’s a reward you get after doing rituals and praying a certain amount of times. You lie or you kill somebody; those forme initially a gam between you and God. I’m just putting this up because no one is farther away from God, we all just need to take the single step of wanting to be with Jesus and acknowledge that he died for us. Him dying for us and us believing in him then makes us covered in Jesus’ blood. We are then seen as righteous before God, and we are saved. Human is evil so all of us going to hell would be the Just thing for god to do, but he is so merciful that he wants to get close to us. And about baptism, it doesn’t save us, baptism isn’t the thing that saves us. As for the babies, we don’t know, but we do know that God is Juste and loves us so I’m pretty sure they would not go to hell. But then again we cannot comprehend God

It emphasizes the danger of apostasy and the difficulty of restoration for those who have knowingly rejected the truth. It serves as a cautionary message to believers to remain steadfast in their faith and not to take it lightly, as there may be severe spiritual consequences for turning away from God once one has truly known Him.
