Cozy Games $15 and under: czcams.com/video/pipDYGss3Cc/video.htmlsi=Js2kiNgt6S7Gqa5x
Haven Park is just over $5 Canadian and I got about 10 hours of gameplay out of it and didn't even finish all the side quests, it was really lovely and had that emotional ending that was so cute.
Garden Story is one of my all-time favourite games that I've ever played. The different biomes, music and pacing are so relaxing and addictive. it's 60% off right now in Canada just over 10 bucks.
I LOVED My Time at Portia.....so much that I own it on pc, switch, and Xbox lol. I got a lot of game play out of $16 which is what I paid for it on sale at the time.....and for $2.99 omg go for it!
I tried to play My Time in Portia. I just couldn't get into it. The controls felt wonky and it just wasn't for me
At this point, it's pretty obvious that Pat has shares in A Short Hike
The Donut game reminds me of Katamari. Getting it.
I’ve played Stranded Sails. It’s a good game, lots of exploring and crafting elements as well as farming. Would recommend getting! The controls on the switch take a bit to get used too, but it’s still worth it.
Literally Katamari but hole, i neeeeeed! Really great list, some gems i never knew about. Thanks Pat!
I posted hidden through time in your discord the other day! I loveee this game, so cozy! 🧡
I'm liserable with anything just slightly, remotely platform- ey (I even get stuck with the challenges of that race dog teacher character in Spiritfarer, that's how bad I'm bad at stuff like that), but I absolutely ADORE Berlinist's score for Gris, it's been a constant on my wind -down, evening routine playlist for quite a while now ❤ They even did two more scores for Moncage (which seems like it might actually fit the cozy game moniker) and Worldless (which is kinda recent if I remember right) which are definitely worth the listen as well 😊
Super monkey balls is the BEST! We used to play the golf on WII all the time and it's adorable.
Thanks for the research! I’ve been eyeing Gris for a very long time. It being less than 5 dollars is just a must buy!
Great list! And the comment section is a treasure trove of rec's :)
I've been playing Spiritfarer for a couple days now (on sale for 8.49 CAD - normally 33.99) and it's way cuter than I expected it to be. It has goals and guidelines but allows a bit of puttering around as well. Definitely recommend!
About My Time at Portia, I liked it well enough. But, Sandrock blows it out of the water. I played it on PC though, and once it's all nicely debugged on switch, I'd recommend it. It has some of the BEST game character acting and scripts I've experienced in a game (I laughed out loud many times). One major tip I'd give someone is to learn the colours of the 'tasks' you see around the map. So, if you see that it's not super important (like the main story line stuff), then don't feel so pressed to run and grab it or you'll feel completely overwhelmed. Take your time and have some fun with it and develop those relationships so you can see and hear more of what that team put into the game.
Thank you so much for this!!! Really helpfull
Love these types of videos! Also happy early birthday 🎉🎉
Love this! Especially when Pat says, "You play as a hole." Sold! 👻
So many double entendres there with Donut County. I guess I’m 10. The more that goes in the hole, the bigger it gets. 😂
you're so right! I bet it would make a hilarious stream
If you like hidden objects games you'd probably love cozy grove if you haven't played it yet. The basic gameplay loop is a daily scavenger hunt. I like stranded sails but movement is very sluggish in the beginning.
Lets go! :) Animal Crossing: New Horizons (ONE OF THE BEST COZIEST GAMES NINTENDO HAS EVER MADE SO FAR) in my opinion. :)
Fae farm is better nw😂
@@Unicornmeenutf is that
Love the list! I got My Time at Portia a couple years ago on a different sale and finally started playing it recently. I have really enjoyed it so far. I'll see how I feel later, but so far the resource gathering, crafting, and interactions have been wonderfully fun. I also own Donut County and Hidden Through Time and can recommend both.
In the last couple of days I got Staxel when it was still on sale for $7.49 and the Sprout Valley/Bit Orchard bundle that you mentioned to scratch my farming itch. I wanted something that wasn't too plot heavy.
I also got Kingdom Two Crowns ($4.99) along with the Norse Lands DLC ($6.29). The game has gorgeous 2D pixelart and music teamed with exploration, secrets, base building, and tower defense. It also has a difficulty setting, where you can pick peaceful mode to turn off the enemy waves for a more cozy time focusing on the money management and exploration. I tried the game and played for 5 hours straight last night.
I also grabbed We ♡ Katamari for $14.99. Katamari is one of my favorite series to just chill out with. Great music, fun and colorful worlds, silly humor... I find them extremely inviting and love replaying my favorite levels to find new things or beat previous best scores.
I have a couple of dollars in gold coins now that I'm looking to put towards a low priced game. I'm torn between A Short Hike, Pikuniku, and Lost in Random. This sale has too many amazing deals on stuff I'm interested in. 😅
Woah! Thanks for the recommendations. Love the Katamari games 😌🧡
LOVE these videos. I need more time in the day to play everything
Ive played hours and hours of Hidden in Time and bought the DLC. So worth it.
Can I just say: living for the Pat videos this month, they are so awesome and helpful to watch!!
thx!!! I need this! nice to have some fun cheap games to play !
I picked up the last campfire during the sale and I was surprised how enjoyable it is
Thanks for all the game recommendations! Most are brand new to me! I NEED Donut Country! I basically am a hole in the ground, so it’s perfect
LMAO
I simply adore Sprout Valley though I haven’t spent too much time on it. Thanks for your recommendation.
You’re awesome. Happy Thanksgiving dude 🙂🧡
Solid list!! A short hike is SO good. I wish it was longer but alas....a little out of that price range but I got Spiritfarer and Stange Horticulture recently and for $7 they are steals!
Great list Pat! I can't second A Short Hike enough. It's so fun and sweet, despite how short/cheap it is. Donut County is one I've been meaning to pick up for awhile, so I appreciate the reminder of it while it's cheaper! There's also a few other games on here that I'll probably pick up as well now. Thanks Pat!! Also, I'm surprised that there's no mention of Suika on here, but it's probably for the best haha. It's too addicting for it's own good.
haha i figured i mentioned Suika enough ;)
@@NintenTalk True haha
A great list for keeping little ones occupied for a while. AND me , i admit.
sometimes the cheaper games are the best
I have over 60 hours in my time at Portia I absolutely love this game there is so much to do and so much personality in it and sandrock just builds off of it in a better way it’s a slow start but I definitely love both games so much
There's a game I like called colour zen. I think it was even free!! It's nice to play and super chill!
I played Stranded Sails when it came on PC - It's a cute game but not very long. Stamina use to be a problem, but the beefed it up.
Pat upload on my birthday? Sweet!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
I’ve played and finished Stranded Sails and I recommend it. I did play it on Apple Arcade though, not Switch, so I can’t vouch for how well it could play on that device.
I recommend Gato Robato! I bought it for like 8-10$ on sale I believe and it's really fun. I believe it's by the same person who made enter the gungeon so Devolver. It's not overly challenging and you can customize the UI/ game color to make it even more cozy.
I just got My Time at Portia I am not seeing the bad
A Short Hike is probably my favorite short game I've played which I don't play many LOL. My Time at Portia is also better on Switch and there is a lot of story content for the game always being on sale for 5. Sprout Valley Dev is always thinking of ways to improve the game which I like, I have it but have rarely played it though haha
Gris is one of my favourites, it's just so beautiful! I keep thinking I want to replay
YES! The visuals, the music, the theme, so phenomenal! It's an experience i felt to the core. I really have to play it again
I’ve seen stranded sails recently. I haven’t bought it but the graphics make me want to buy it
I do play My Time in Portia, and its a nice little game
Love the inclusions of A Short Hike, Sparklite, and Donut County here - and completely unexpected (but welcome!) suggestion of Super Monkey Ball! I'd completely forgotten about Lumbear Jack, and Hidden Through Time is 100% my kind of game - buying both immediately.
"If you DON'T buy it, they cut DOWN a tree!" Legit LOL.
Can't disagree with you AT ALL about Portia. Not my thing at all.
Thanks for watching man!! Glad you found some you like ❤️❤️
Florence!! The best. 👌
I got A Short Hike for free on the Epic Game Store a few years back. SO good.
Thanks for the recommendations, gonna pick up a couple and then not play them for like 6 months because I have too much to play lol
👻great recos!
Ty :)
Just bought lumbearjack
My recomendations are Pikuniku and Wuppo. I'm pretty sure both are under 15$ and often on huge discount. They are less cozy-cozy and more cozy-silly, but are very good games with interesting artstyles and fun stories.
ooo thanks for the recommendations
@@NintenTalk Really, if you can grab them on sale, go for them, they are both great. Not very long, but still great.
How is ever person missing lost in random in their list
Is Suika Game considered cozy? Only $3 on the eshop.
Such a cute and addictive time-killer :)
Stranded Sails is so fun and well worth $5. I got about 17 hours of play time out of it 🙂
Please check out this platformer dropping in Japan on November 30th…
Otogi Katsugeki Mameda no Bakeru: Oracle Saitarou no Sainan!!
Recommending Cattails 🐈⬛🐈
👀
Hidden through time is beautiful and i love it
And Gris is the most perfect game ever 🥰🥰🥰
I have Florence though never played, and Gris has been on my wish list for literal years.
I also got Limbo haven't played it yet
Pat, Stranded Sails is $24.99 for switch. Was the price jacked up due to your video? LOL
You never seen the hole concept game? There’s one that released years ago
I like Mario tennis too. But Golf more, over 800 hours in golf
Oh wow!! I need to go back and play golf more
just noticed last campfire is less than $3 on sale right now. this game was genuinely so much fun! as someone who payed full price for it, and i absolutely think it's still worth it at full price. at $3 i cannot recommend it enough
don't do portia on the switch. picked it up because i'd watched people play it (on pc) when it was new and because it technically cost me nothing (because of nintendo points) i thought i'd give it a go. the port is AWFUL. not worth $0. i think i lasted like maybe 20 minutes, 10 of which were probably me fighting with the color wheel in character creation,
Please use a mic stand 😁
Is the bento game really easy? I don’t like puzzle games but I like cats.
It gets more and more challenging! Not too difficult tho
@@NintenTalk ok great! I’ll have to check it out
I wouldn’t play my time at Portia or sandrock even if they were free. 😂 Portia may be only a couple of USD right now to buy but time is priceless 😂.
I loved Portia, cause I liked the story and the characters/stories, but most of all cause of the excavation. I got very, very addicted to excavating in the mines 😅 If you are not super against this kind of game, I do think it might be worth a try.
@@sevothtartesama18 that’s fair! I’m glad you enjoyed it :)) I’m not against them at all, in fact I love that type of game. But there’s something about the characters, art style that doesn’t call me at all. But love the genre. ❤️
@@jorgesolorzano1995 Hehe, I get it! Have a good one wherever you are 😚
Sandrock is the only game I have returned on Steam, such a mess, so disconnected, it's so scattered and the characters are so meh. And controls are awfully clancky
@GeekyMina hey that's really interesting cause I have wanted to buy it but haven't yet. If you have played My Time at Portia was Sandrock worse? If you haven't played Portia obviously ignore this question. Thanks!
Why does nobody talk about passpartout 2??
Just played that actually! I can’t really draw but it was pretty fun
@@NintenTalk Yeaaa I’m not the best artist either but it’s still fun and it not a farming sim lol
👻👻
It’s starting to feel as though you’re now recommending games because you’re backed by Nintendo. (not saying you are, just starting to feel that way.) like you’re not being as choosy about how good the game is actually.
Nope not the case! There are thousands of games on sale right now, making this list was tough
