man this video... when you can't accept your own unreconciled feelings, i feel like a lot of us get really self destructive, and when you have people who feed into that, you end up losing it all. The story behind the song is about a guy who have a perfect new girlfriend but he still have the memories of his ex and everytime he do anything with his new gf, he keeps having a glimpse of his past relationship. That’s all I know from the music video.

I think the video shows a perspective on why the relationship didn’t work out and how reality started to set in for the people in the vid. It went from them not caring doing dumb shit to them having breakdowns and turning back to that life trying to block it out.
