Jeep v Jeep Pt2 - FTX Outback Mini X Fury and Axial SCX24 out on the trail at Panorama

- If you saw Part One, you will know that we decided - as we had two Jeeps in the mini fleet, which we had pimped with roof racks and scale accessories, and added wheel weights and tweaked shocks - that we should put them up against one another, head to head.
Part One was just based around our little back garden crawler course. For Part Two, we headed off to Panorama near Llangollen - one of our regular crawling haunts - to see how the FTX Outback Mini X Fury and the Axial SCX24 did in the wild.
You'll see that the super-soft tyres on the FTX definitely helped it climb stuff that the Axial struggled with - and the fact that the FTX is completely waterproof stock, whereas the Axial isn't, means you don't have to be quite so careful picking your route when water is involved!.

I think the Fury won this time. It looks like it was able to more easily conquer the terrain than the Axial.

Hi, fury looks amazing! With perhaps some good ESC and better motor (something like furitek combo) would be even better than SCX24. But would be great if you could make a video about upgrading possibilities of Fury because your SCX24 has only few upgrades and fully upgraded would deal with the cours alot better ofc. Great video! Love it!
that place is ana amzing location to shoot. those tiny rigs look right at home there and that little cliff is an awesome challenge and great photo op. great work guys!!

The Axial did well, it was its tyres that let it down. Once they were wet, they had nowhere near the grip that the tyres on the Fury did. Adding the brass all round to the FTX has made a huge difference to its stability, as witnessed right on the edge of the cliff!
