Wonderful! You've put in the mood for playing it again for like the 20th time.
Great memories about Gothic, Me and few friends played it hardcore, and were always discovering secrets, exploits, and having blast in the game. This was before any of us had internet so we had to discover stuff by ourselves, great times! There were lot of good RPG games relased oblivion, skyrim, witcher but neither of them came close to what gothic 1 and 2 were which is sad.

I just started playong gothic again after a while. I finished it once and now Im playing it again, this game is just a masterpiece. Your videos helped me a lot, like that amulet over the bandit's camp O_o

im from germany, i found your channel today. I watched every gothic vid. like your way how you make this videos. i hope for more :)
Man, i love your channel but i really want to see more content. I do a play-through of Gothic 2 almost every year since it's release to this day. I know it would be time consuming and maybe difficult but i'd be really happy to see a full let's play type series of videos going through the whole game. With 3 factions, each with it's own unique quests and play style, Gothic 2 (talking about vanilla only) has at least 60-70 hours of play time, easy. And that's for veterans pretty much auto piloting through the whole game. Beginners can enjoy upwards of 100+ hours into this game.
It has it's flaws, it's age and with it, it's funny and outdated shenanigans but for me, still, in 2020, it's still the best action rpg i ever played.

Great nostalgic video man. You know what would be interesting? Maybe you could do reviews of some Gothic mods (like your golden gate video) . I would really like to watch those. I finished the game many times but have not played many mods. I think that could give you a lot of content and your viewers would get a chance to see what they could have played and missed ( maybe even play them selfs). Anyway man good luck.

Hey I just found an interesting bug, go where you get and repair the eye of innos, than walk torwards the wall to the west and you will find some stairs. Go downstaird and you will find a cave with a bunch of skeletons and cronos's dead body. But if you go and check on the water mages, he is still there. (Gothic 2 gold edition, chapter 5 paladin)

@@vectorpericulosu1227 When a character goes from one world to another ( e.g. from penal colony to khorinis) the game has to create a copy of the character. So you can find there sometimes Diego sometimes cronos and more
One such zone is in one of the caves behind the orc pallisade in VoM too, (originally it was on the way to the sect camp in G1). When I found it for the first time there were like 6 dead ppl in it. Yeah the game disposes of npcs that move between worlds as apparently they cannot be deleted for some reason (possibly bcs they are still holding some items). I once found Gorn dead in the cave you mentioned during one of my early playthroughs and I was freaking out wondering how did he get there and why did he die.

I love this game and I really like your videos. Gothic 1 and 2 are so underrated. I'm going to try ELEX some day, but I'm not a fan of that futuristic stuff. Do Gothic fans like ELEX?
it's good, but it's not gothic anymore :( And not just because of the futuristic setting. I feel like since Mike Hoge left PB that the gothic soul has vanished :(

when ever i try open gothic 1 or 2 it sayes acess violation
then you shuld download Gothic fix then Gothic player kit and then Gothic system pack it should work like a charm
