So glad a channel like this exist! Though I was surprised to see shoes like the KD16 on a wide-foot channel from what I‘ve heard about the sneakers. I highly recommend the WoW Fission 8. I usually don’t go TTS (usually at least one size up) but with these I did. Snug fit, but a relatively wide forefoot area compared to other hoop shoes. The midfoot area feels a bit narrow at first but doesn’t need a lot of break-in time. They feel really comfortable and are also great performance wise. Traction could be better on dusty courts, but I‘ve heard that they improved on that end with the Fission 9! I‘m also really enjoying the Harden 7‘s, but my feet are heating up a lot in those, which is a bit annoying sometimes and doesn‘t help with pressure points on my feet
Hello, I really appreciate your feedback. The reason why the kd16 is on the list is because the shoe runs really short. So going up half a size or even a full size results in a “better” fit than going up half a size in standard shoes. Also, great recommend from way of wade. I am hoping to get the new fissions for a review soon.
Nice video, and how do you recommended in sizing for the all city 12? I usually go 9US with Nike and for the WOW shoes, Im considering going up to 9.5 because these sizes both convert to 27cm in general.
For me- the way of wade measuring chart is accurate. I went true to size and the shoe is fairly snug but has stretched out a bit. If you want a one-to-one fit go true to size. If you want a less restrictive fit go up half. Overall if I were you, I’d go up half a size
Thank you! I can’t believe I got this wrong… I will do better next time! Well- I guess the take away is that the shank plate isn’t very good if I thought there wasn’t one…
@@ttvWideShoes oh for sure! The longer carbon fiber plate should perform better than a shorter plastic one! Probably what makes the $40 price difference between the nxxt and the 20/21s
Are the wades actually solid for working out and hooping? I’m a size 13 got wide feet too, I want some Jordan’s but honestly I’ll get the wades if they’re really nice they definitely look good

Hi. Do you have a shoe that's a wide toe box. I haven't been able to find 12:35 any and my son really wants to play basketball. Overall, this is a great review😊
I will for sure get back to you with an updated list. But right now- the wade fission 9 is a great choice. Also, the ja 1 and cosmic unity 3 run short- so going up half a size in those will workout fine. In terms of adidas. The new harden volume 8 is pretty solid- the harden volume 7s should work as well. bro are you really wide footer? most of these shoes are too narrow for me. for reference I'm size 11 with 5E width. Only GT Hustle 2 and Asics Agelburst 27 4E (imported from Japan) work for me!
@@bendutton I have learned that my midfoot (where the arch is) is not very wide but my toes in my toe box are super super wide. Essentially, my feet are duck foot shaped. So next years list will have better wide foot options and- huge fan of the agelbursts!
It’s not too bad, and the shoe runs a bit short which means you could go half a size up easily. I have the Lebron 21 review coming out in about 2 weeks
All of the way of wade shoes, so the 808 regulars and the all city 11 and 12s. The KD 16s and the LeBron NXXT. And the gt hustle 2’s but those actually ripped on me. So essentially, the top 5
Unfortunately, that is one of the only shoes I have not tried or looked into. I know they are good if you wear ankle braces. - but in terms of being wide, I think they are just average.
Yes, the cushion is really good. The shoes also aren’t too high off the ground so you get a really smooth ride with ample cushion. I am about 200lbs and have hip replacements and the all city 12 keeps me free from pain and soreness.
From my perspective the reason why I said they were wide footed friendly was because the shoe runs short, so going up half a size is more do-able than other shoes. However, looking back at when this was filmed: there just wasn’t as many options for us wide footers in 2023. It wasn’t until the very tail end of 2023 that a decent amount of wide-footer options began to hit the market. Luckily, my 2024 video at the end of this year will likely be way better for wide footers overall.
@@ttvWideShoes That’s cool! The Dame 8, Harden Volume 7 and Don Issue 5 works well for me. I hope these well known brands produce more wide foot friendly hoop shoes.
