Im ordering one this week. I'll have 2 fat tire folders. Im not getting the full suspension model.
I have built 3 of my own ebikes now. I always fit the throttle on the left as the handlebars are tidier with the throttle on the opposite side to the gear shifter and your right thumb is left free for changing gear. Just makes more sense to me.

No. Most people are right handed and naturally want the throttle on the right. It's the same with motorcycles, the throttle is always on the right. I have never seen a motorcycle or ebike with a left hand throttle. Engwe has it backwards.
No, I'm into my second year, and my second ebike in 2 years, I ride every day for 9 months until wet winter days. I wouldn't change anything now, my gosh, I'm over 66. I have a hard enough time with the throttle now, forgetting and grabbing the throttle when parking it. ☹️

I'm a motorbike guy, first thing I noticed on my new e-bike was the brakes were on the wrong side, easy fix because they're cable disc brakes.
No helicopter ride after this crash then?
Nope, thankfully made it out of this one without any major broken bits. 40kg feels heavy on your neck though...
