Just pulled a 10k pound trailer 365 miles this weekend and i have the revmax thermal bypass. Max trans temp was 160 degrees. And at times it was 98 degrees outside. Highly recommend this product 👌🏼

Same issue on my 2011 Patriot. Got a big cooler with the off road package but I think that nearly identical valve is stuck. I am thinking to just lock that valve in the open position rather than spend $100
i got mine with valve body and deep pan. now it runs 140s to 160s very fresh big differences

Got mine in last week tried to install but obviously they sent the wrong one mines a 2021 ram 2500 6.7 Cummins 68 rfe but the new revmax didn’t have a hole in the middle of the block to to bolt the lines in so I had to install my old one again Hope they take it back and send the right one

After installing did you get a check engine light for PO868?
My 2021 ram 2500 6.7 trans is giving me a PO871 code. It's a recall on the trans. It's under warranty. But what do u suggest might solve this problem if the dealer can't fix it. The trans is building up pressure and heat which causes the trans 68 rfe to not shit. What can I add to stop this?
I just installed one on my '19 and I see how you almost stripped the threads. Revmax needs to make those 2 threaded openings closer together to mimic the stock thermostats shape better. Because they are farther apart, the hard lines don't have enough give and therefore one will always want to go in slightly angled. I had to bend one of the rigid lines in order to get them seated straight and the threads started. I was disappointed because for $100 I felt that it should be better thought out. Perhaps some of the other brands such as ATS or BD are better made than this Revmax version.
Not many trans mods that are relatively cheap and can be done without pulling tranny itself. 👍

What about cold climate and what do you think about rev max valve body or f1 nextgen one
Revmax valve body is on point I'm actually gonna be doing one in the next week or so
How does it perform in cold weather? Seems like it would be bad for the truck if you live up north during the winter?
Trans still warms up fine. For cold weather mishimoto makes one where u cam install the tstat into it for cold weather applications and take out for warm summer months

Do it man, it helps brace the transmission overall and allows u to add more fluid and aids in cooling
Does this need any programming? Will the truck realize it and throw a code? We will still be able to get a transmission temp?
Won't affect anything. No wires or computers involved. Just install and go

@@EVERYTHANGDIESEL i knew where the weak link was because leadfoot diesel from Monroe Georgia showed me a stock display in the show room with advice on driving habits. babied the truck more than normal but was having a bad day and tried to save a guy a few hundred bucks on a tow. Horse power and lack of braincells for a split second lol

Not needed. 3rd gens don't have t stat incorporated its full flow.
Not a 100% sure but I think it's 13 to newer Ram HDs.
