Jenn and I are totally blown away by this thing. It was so exciting to fly it, and to see our little farm and homestead from all those different angles. Not to mention the view of the mountains, the sunset and all the great nooks that exists on our little part of the world. This is the coolest thing I've ever owned.

Awesome review. We bought the same model for my son for Christmas. And have been wondering about it. It's been really hard for me not to unbox and play with it thanks for the video.
I can't say enough nice things about this. I love it. I've flown it a bunch now and am getting the hang of flying it even when I cant see it.

I though the price was fair- I have had so much fun with this one, I kinda wish I had it a while ago
I have been fascinated with remote control helicopters and drones for years. I'm told drones are much easier to fly and if you get the right one they have stuff to help you fly them. But when I looked into them the prices were so high that I just couldn't see it. It was not like could make money with it. I figured it would be like the rc cars and trucks I have. They are real fun with others but tend to just sit around otherwise.
The prices have come down the more technology improves- I wish I was better at video games to know the remote better- But practice will make me better.
Great little drone ! The footage you shot was awesome . Next hamfest you go to , take it with you and get some overhead pictures as well . I'm sure you'll be having loads of fun with it !

I believe the rules limit the drone to 400 feet above ground level.
this one does have the limiter on it- I am not big on breaking rules

Hey guys....(Long time listener. First time caller). Lol Your about as normal a my cup of joe n the am. So my question is. Are you familiar with Air cooled VW Engines?. Secifically My point to this question. If you are infact a good knowledge base in Air-cooled Engines ( of the VW persuasion) do you have any feedback for identification or identifiers or marker for engine size. Specifically on the Engine itself.

Did you stress test the batteries? If they say 30 mins, my experience is more like 20.
I have not yet- it was telling about charging/discharging a few times to get the full run time. I flew it on a very cold day and the time was a bit less- that is to be expected in the cold.

Coal is also a nice gift- it can keep you warm in the winter, the drone can't
Never press the "Home" button on the controller. The drone will automatically fly back to China :)
this one has a "kill" switch in case of major problems. It even states not to use it unless it is a catastrophic problem
@@FarpointFarms Great video as always! I bought the Promark GPS drone from Walmart 4yrs ago, (Black Friday sale). As a test, I flew it to its limits several times, powered off the controller and it returned every time. I was very impressed with this $99 DJI clone. Crappy camera but replaced it with a GoPro knock off that recorded the same quality pics in your video.

@Farpoint Farms before you upload any drone area footage for commercial purposes $.01 or more per the FAA rules make shore you have your part 107 FAA test...I don't want to see you end up like Philly drone live a $182 fine from the Philadelphia FAA...just looking out for you
