I am painting miniatures for warhammer 40k, age of sigmar, marvel crisis protocol, D&D and much more! Whether it is superhero miniatures, heroic characters or space marines, I will paint them! If you are looking for some sweet miniature painting tutorials or warhammer hobby content in general, this is the right channel for you! - Jak na to + styl
From the bottom of my heart thank you guys for your support! It wouldn't be possible to run this channel without you ❤️
Where are the links to every product? On top of that - I have not mentioned camera lenses that could be used for shooting minis
@Zumikito, what was that color changing light you use for color rendering called?
@@ghostzone985Agreed. I'm looking for some of the items he mentioned
You support my hobbying & make me laugh too! You give so many great tips, your teaching style is perfect. Clear, humorous, discussion on pitfalls, great camera work, coherent outline, and moving. I know you shoot for shorter videos, yet I appreciate and enjoy the longer ones as well as the evolution of your style. I’d tell you not to change anything but I know you will evolve and I will enjoy it even more! So do your thing and I wish you great success, Z!
After finding out people don't paint the rim on their miniatures I decided to start a business to help those interested. The Rim Job company you do your Rimming. Happy to sponsor upcoming videos!
Pile of potential is my favorite way I've ever heard it. You're so positive you help this disabled iron worker out so much best channel. If I could work again and have extra income I would so join your patron thanks for the free youtube lessons they mean more than you know.
You should start streaming. If you do make sure to tell us where to find you!!
Great video. My hobby area is a complete train wreck, it’s good to see ideas for organizing and everything. I will be looking into your display setup, that looked perfect! Thank you😊
Love your content and your guides. I'm rather new to the miniature painting hobby (Beginning of 2023) and i appreciate the help from your videos. I think every bit helps me to improve. Keep up the good work! Thanks alot!
For lighting in your display case, check out "LED flat panel lighting" for a more diffused light that will blend into the top of a cube well and look more natural.
They come in squares and circles, and I think you'd really like the lighting they provide for displaying your miniatures.
As facility manager of an university of applied science I can assure you, the accoustic baffles on the ceiling are essential. Even more than the ones on the walls. The pieces in the corners do help a lot too, they prevent sound to bounce in the corners.
Nice studio btw!
When I started reading your comment I thought I am going to see facility manager's of an university of applied science comment regarding base rimming.
@@veelckoo I rim them black 😉
@Zumikito Miniatures MAN you are hairier in 1080p than I originally expected/anticipated :D
More to the point, keep up the amazing work! Passion is passion and it seems to me that you embody this perfectly, at least for the 3 years of me watching your videos. Please do not try to blindly follow the trend of "every video has to be better/bigger than the previous one" since this leads to a solitary room in the asylum. If your previous videos are near or exactly perfect, do not try to change this. Perfect is good enough for me, and hopefully good enough for most of the people. Best regards!
I recently got the light you promoted for my setup and my work quality has soared ! thank you so much !
Oh man I love your videos, I can be in a massive pit of anxiety and depression you never fail to make me laugh. Thank you my man.
Nice set up!
"my pile of potential"... yeah! kudos to Roman for this wonderful expression
Living the dream! What a great set up.
Fascinating. Thanks for sharing!
Since I completely switched to a standing desk for work and general pc stuff, my lower back issues have completely gone away. Also it's way easier to go to a con or a museum or something similar, and don't get tired. Definitely a big live improvement for me!
Nice setup, thanks!
Ha, smart man! Made me go down the rabbit hole of the audio quality of his own channel in the first minute of his video. Respectable!
I work somewhere that also has a large youtube channel, one thing we did recently was use the AI clean up on the audio. It's pretty amazing actually. Maybe not to the point you can completely do without acoustic foam in the studio, but it's not far off. Basically dog crap audio in and good (enough) audio out
Very impressive studio and equipment when I figure out how to enlarge the apartment I live in I will definitely make sure I can super size it to how awesome your space is. Thank you for sharing this.
Proud of your growth
I love the cabinet for all the miniatures. i want something like that when I buy a unit/house soon.
Fantastic set up!👍
Great setup! Standing table and desktop setup will help your posture so that is a good investment
Thats a nice room indeed!
Hope I can catch one of your streams soon!
Really nice studio!
I've got that exact pegboard from Ikea and use it the same way.. and also put backlights on it too. Also go two smaller ones, they're excellent just because they're so modular.
Not sure if my question is off topic, but I guess its part of studio infrastructure :P During the recording what aperture setting you use on the camera? Glorious studio by the way!
Love the little painting on your whiteboard, i guess i have to do so😂
That spare table is your 3d printing station, dude! :D
Awesome video !!! And speaking of that what camera are you using !?!?
Really cool to see a professional set up! I almost missed the little message 😉. Sounds great to have a standing desk to paint, never really thought about it, but it might definitly help. But the question is, does it also help with rimming 🤔?
Your recommendation to Google Rimming gets me every time. So inappropriate but absolutely hilarious.
Great video! thank you.
WTF Glass Kallax doors!!!!
Crazy that most of us struggle for the perfect painting / gaming hobby space but you have to add video filming and production to that too. Kudos!
I want this Kallax doors but only available in Europe 😢
great video! what are the rectangular lamps you use to light your showcase models called? id love to pick up one or two. thanks!
wow you are really amazing
Those square stand lights are amazing! Where are they from please? :)
Really enjoying your content! Any chance you’d do Kingdom Death painting tutorials in the future? Also, would love a painting tutorial on skin tones!
I have several videos on skintones already! I will do more KDM stuff in the future
running around in a DIY foamed hobbyroom with the Yeti ;p
Love it ;)
Where would I be able to find that ikea movement cart thing?
Can you show us your painted KD minis? Or a tutorial would be nice as well
Homie. Give me some Crisis Protocol videos. You can't hide it, we all saw that card!
Can you link the cabinets that lock with a key and the miniature glass case from ikea
The lamp link in the US is for a desk clamp light. Do you know the model that is stand/tripod mount that you are showing in the video?
Sweet set up, have you considered streaming?
Thanks for sharing!
I also like Ikea Kallax, we have about 6-7 different sized Kallax in the house.
What I hate, is Ikea not selling those exact clear glass doors in Australia. FFS!!! I want to put my mini's in the Kallax but keep them dust free!
Very cool setup! I really like the bigger table that changes height! Even though it’s kinda a waste of money for me if I was interested in a new table. I know I don’t have a job that I sit at a desk all day long but for pretty much the last two years my schedule has been get out of work at 2:30pm. And from about 3:15-3:30pm to 9:30-10:00pm I’m at my desk painting minis, drawing or painting pictures or working on (now second draft of) my graphic novel. And the only times I get up is bathroom breaks and when I need to eat. But I bring the food right back to my table. The food actually doesn’t go on that table though. It has it’s own small table for that lol or if my daughter is over. Then I’ll eat in the living room or dining room with her. And I do that pretty much every day except for days I’m off. Because those days I’m pretty much at that table all day! Literally all day! With a few breaks like I already mentioned. Anyways, I’m getting way off track. I’m just trying to say unless you actually have back problems caused by something besides sitting at a table I don’t really get why you can’t just stand up for a few minutes when you feel your back getting a little tight and then get back to work!?! But I don’t know if you put any links on here (I should have checked before I got to this point in my comment lol) but I’ll ask and then check but what’s the size of that table? You said you used it for (I believe you said) gaming. But it doesn’t look like it would be big enough for like WH. Or even the smaller SWL! I know there are other games. I’m just trying to figure out how I can get a big enough table for my dining room but also not block the room. I have ideas but it would either cost me a fortune to buy it or I would have to make it. And I am not a carpenter!!! Anyways, thanks for showing us your set up and how everything around it looks! Very cool
Yeah, no. Just the desk. Oh well
What is the storage u use for ur mini bits?
Hexagons are bestagons 6:10
Awesome video dude. My office is a prism shape or A-frame with a 45° angle. That means it's really difficult to have anything vertical of any reasonable size so shelves or tall cabinets are out immediately. I have a plan to attach some paint racks to the wall so they hang down at the back of my painting space but I haven't managed to print or laser route the STLs yet unfortunately. I don't film so I don't need loads of space. If you have no use for that old lamp, I'll take it off your hands. I'd love one of those to replace my two extendable arm lamps. Ah well, work with what you have eh? I have photos of my 'odd' setup on my Instagram page.
With such a nice setup, why do professionals still skimp on their airbrush air compressor? With all the sound concerns, why not have a silentaire or some other silent air compressor?
"I´m Zumikito and welcome to my shack..." :D
Kingdom death monster? Ah, I see you’re a man of culture as well.
Hey Zumikito, I love your work, painting and guides, is there any chance you remember the name of the shelving units you got from IKEA?
Google "Kallas glass unit" and it should show up
Thank you!
I like the shelves you have. Are those the Kallax or Eket from IKEA? I see the glass doors are Eket but not sure if you modded the Kallax shelves with those doors, since I didn't see a large Eket shelf unit.
Both are Kallax, but the glass units are not sold in some countries so I bought them on ebay. Just type "kallax glass unit"
Man, I'd be happy with just a dedicated painting desk. Something that not only minimizes the setup and break down, but also gets me off the computer so it's not a fight between moving my hand a bit and clicking to play a game vs. all the annoying business before I even get a brush in my hands. Also dedicated storage would be nice, right now everything's a bit everywhere.
I went the other way and have purposely built my setup to be portable. As my paint collection grows it's a challenge, but the ability to paint pretty much anywhere helps to get me out of the basement. Kitchen table, office, even the porch if the temperature and humidity cooperate!
Man, I'm a sucker for behind-the-scenes videos and this one did not disappoint. Thanks, Z! And now to go Google "rimming"...
I'm dying! LMAO!! Two rimming jokes in a row!
I haven’t been able to find glass doors for a Kallax. Not from IKEA anyway. So where did you get the glass doors? Inquiring minds want to know.
...EBAY 💀
Gonna need a bigger table for GCE
nah, the showdown board will stay the same
Do you have the specific name for the Ikea display shelf?
It's called Kallax and comes in all kinds of sizes, but all of them are able to hold the glass units
sorry if this has been covered but what is that mini at the end of the video? it looks super cool!!
The bust? Alice Cross from Neko Galaxy
@@Zumikito thanks!
Congrats on the upgrade. It looks great!
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to Google “rimming.”
those glass inserts for kalax are no longer available at Czech republic Ikeas, I must go for mine to Poland. I wonder why all other Ikea stores seems to still have them, but we gets screwed...
Tell me about it, I had to order all 10 of them from a German reseller from Ebay! 💀
@@Zumikito I think Ikea here does it on purpose... :) They know we as czechs has pretty long history with all sorts of modeling. I am atleast lucky to live in Ostrava, so for me its only 30 minutes car trip to get to nearest polish Ikea. When I was getting mine I bought 20 at once :) 7 for me and 13 for my father who use it to display his airplane models.
U.S. ikeas don't seem to have them either. At least, I've looked and they always come up as unavailable. 🤔
i'm afraid to report that rimming does not in fact refer to painting base rims
1:05 tears
After googling it, I'm not sure if I want to paint a rim anymore... But I could ask a friend to help me
New video from hairy Czech guy. I like it! (It was way to late sorry!)
I am Czech though 👀
"Pile of Potential". I have that but mine is just "okay lets forget about this stuff for two years."
Oh god… I googled it. I cant unsee the Eye of Sauron
Gambler's Chest shipping soon!
heck yea, can't wait to paint all that!
But where do you put your socks?! 😜
dont google rimming with mom and dad in the room
Don't worry, your mom and dad do it too.
I can't work out if this is an advert for IKEA or an advert for not letting your wife shove you outside to the garage.
A Pile of Overwhelming Potential (PoOP), sir, might also be called one's Collected Random A$$ Projects (CRAP). I'm glad that even more prominent painters show theirs off.
Ngl that thumbnail makes me wonder what your gym set up must be...
🙂😀🤩🙏👏👍
Have you done any rimming on your stream yet? Also, do you ever have issues with your luscious beard when rimming? Obviously, getting paint in it must be a pain...
Yeah competitively he's not worth the investment annoyingly loved him in 9th but will still run him in fun games and just run him at the enemy and see how much damage he can do till he explodes 3 times lmao
Pause at 5:11 . . . does not disappoint
NO! Dont google rimming!
What's that miniature or whatever at the start of the video
Easter Aya from Kingdom Death
