Remember how exciting it was to hear your video game talk?
loved it
I enjoyed it back then. I could not recall if teams had cities to the made up teams, or that could not be done. I didn't not like how started the game out being behind in the score. good review
That's too bad that it's not a good sports game-I do like that halftime show. Great Golf is one of the Great sports series of games that I really like.
dave4shmups how can you deal with the s l o w drawing between shots?
Well, I tried it on an emulator years ago, so maybe that made a difference with drawing on screen? I don’t know.
dave4shmups it reminded me of loading a picture on dial up Internet it drew very slowly each time would take 5-6 chunks if I remember correctly and that island hole. Par 5 more like par 8
I am surprised as a Lions fan you didn't say they were cheering for Eddie Murray! Maybe he was before your time?
Well, like the rest of the Master System sports titles, this one is just grrrrreat (sarcastically speaking of course.)
I played it back in the day, it even stank then. There are better American Football games on the SMS.
Kins 74 which ones are the best
@@AndrewAmbrose I used to have American Pro Football, that was a really good game, this was in the UK not sure what it was called in the US, but definitely worth looking up.
Kins 74 thanks yo
@@AndrewAmbrose Joe Montana Football
Sega Master system was never big on sport games.
A lot of the great sports games on the master system are terrible by today’s standards. Keep in mind the limits that the programmers had to work with you had a 3.5 megahertz CPU 8 kilobytes of RAM, 16 kilobytes of video RAM, and 128 Kilobytes of cartridge storage for a full football game. I think a few games like Phantasy Star pushed the cartridge storage to 512 Kilobytes using bank switching. But when you consider a 8 bit processor around 3.5 MHZ and the memory and storage limitations the programmers did a pretty good job. Also, programming teams were a lot smaller back then. But this game still feels rushed and unfinished I think they have “good bones” but needed some play testing.
Not one of the better sports titles for the SMS!
I'd say that this was a "great" video review, but I don't want to insult you; so I'll just click the "like" button instead.
Thisis a goofy game. I never could get into it.
The graphics are awful, some 5200 games look better than this
