    From the years of 2008 to the end of 2009 I spent a lot of my time playing on the Wii but the main game I played was Animal Crossing City Folk. I would spend all my time fishing, catching bugs and paying off my mortgage. Every now and again I would head into the city to get my haircut and find fancier looking clothes. It was able to keep my attention for months and probably a whole year. I’ve always come back to games like Animal Crossing over the years but other games took my attention away from the likes of Call of Duty releases, Destiny, skyrim and assassin’s creed but I always found myself going back to two games. Animal Crossing and Minecraft. Both games that are truly relaxing and don’t make us annoyed but are simply feel-good games.

    Slime Rancher is such a chill game. My Wife doesn't play games but she got hooked on the gameplay and her understanding of FPS has grown and its so chill and no stress she loves it.

    So true. I've needed a relaxing game since I was very young just to tone down the anxiety of life. It started with Animal Crossing on the GameCube for me, but I definitely see what you mean about Minecraft. I'm 32 now and honestly, I prefer relaxing and cozy games over anything else these days.

    I only recently started playing Minecraft (last summer... Weird I know). I do enjoy the lack of stress and being able to relax in the game while hanging out with friends. I have been missing a game like that and I haven't really been in one lately.
    Growing up, the relaxing game for me was actually Runescape. Yes there was combat, quests, and you leveled up, but you could literally spend hours fishing and cooking. Or maybe you wanted to mine, go cut some trees, or simply explore the world around you. What made it even better was doing it with friends and making memories.
    Some days I go back to Runescape to enjoy the relaxing nature of the game and engage with some of the new aspects game. I wish I had more time to do so.

    I know games like stawdew is a relaxing feeling type of game but what if you dumped 100 hrs and then after a year of not playing it jump back, forgetting the controls, overwhelmed by the watering of the plants and collecting all the maple syrup tasks? I jumped back into and I felt immense pressure from the game right away lol.

    I enjoyed Minecraft early in it's release cycle. It's no longer relaxing. Much like Terraria, it's no longer the same game. I'd love to be able to go back and play earlier versions of some projects. Nice video. I'm going to think on this.

  • @dawnaeaclaudiuscaesaraugus714

    Honestly I find time mechanics in games universally stressful. Maybe I can come back tomorrow, but if the seasons change, I have to wait until it rolls around again. Having any kind of restriction placed on me to accomplish things is more stressful than not. Or conversely, with Animal Crossing in particular where it passes in real time, I find there isn't enough to do during the day, or something I want to do when I want to play, so I get bored. The pacing really doesn't fit with me most of the time.

    • @Exiled7
      @Exiled7  Před 7 měsíci +2

      Just keep making content. Work on building your gold mine of videos until eventually one does well. Stick to what you're enjoying making. Don't let the low views discourage you from making more content. Your 1st and most likely 100th video won't be great. It all takes time so learn to enjoy the process and enjoy the journey instead of overvaluing the destination.
