Seems to be more than precise enough for my level of work. One of these would at least rule out ONE problem. Thanks for the video

I am more than happy with it's accuracy. I struggle doing mitres normally so for me it's perfect. I'm certainly not a professional

Great video. Helpful to see practical evidence of how well it cuts. Thanks for posting these videos, they are always interesting and useful. Sadly my table saw slots are too narrow to fit but I'll keep looking for one. Cheers.

Thanks mate appreciate that. It's annoying when manufacturers make things different to the standard sizes, makes finding accessories harder

I purchased one last year with the upgraded brass handles and I must say I have never had a problem with it.As you described it cuts lovely mitres on my Dewalt table saw, good video.

I got one without the fence. That was a big mistake on my part but I will make a nice one from some nice wood once I get a new table saw that lets this Mitre Gauge fit into the bloody slots.. LOL
I bought it without knowing it would fit but I'm about to build to top of my new table saw this weekend. I've been making my own home built table saw form older parts and I cannot wait to get this mitre gauge working on it. It is a very accurate gauge from what I've seen on "HOOKED ON WOOD" videos. This Dutch lad Denis did a good video about this mitre gauge last year. He rally goes through the whole set up and testes every angle like a mad man.
This Dutch dude has his own website and he reviews only the best tools from Banggood. He won't take anything or review or recommend anything that he feels is bad.
Great video my friend. Hope all is well with u these days. I know u have been through a lot over the past 12 months so I'm sending best wishes to u and ur family my bro.. Keep sae and well and keep making this top content too.

Good vid! But, a real test would be to do the 45 degree cuts with a 5 cuts type of test. That will give you 4X angle resolution

i have the same guage, its pretty accurate, but the mitre slots on my dewalt saw are a bit rough which affects the cut, i filed a tiny bit off the point on the guage that sits in the preset to allow it to seat properly in the indent. i think for the money compared to other high end guages its good value .

Thanks mate appreciate it. It's a dewalt 7491. It's the bigger brother to the 745. It has much larger table & bigger rip capacity. Fantastic saw but I'm wanting to upgrade to one with an induction motor. The dewalt is so loud with no soft start

Thanks for this mate, I'd be tempted to save up for one if only it'd fit the Evolution Rage 5. Grrr. I have a practice piece on the go which involves angles other than 45 or 90 (a first for me) and working them out is doing my head in, let alone worrying about making sloppy cuts. So thanks not least of all for the workflow explanation- as someome who finds it difficult to conceptualise that, I found it really helpful. Cheers.

Thanks mate appreciate it. I hear you regarding angles as I struggle with angles too. Could you use a mitre saw protractor. It tells you what to set your angle at. I have a video on how they work. Have a look to see if it would be of any help. If so check my amazon store I have links to aluminium mitre saw protractor. Brilliant

@@GrumpysWorkshop4 Nice one Dave, ta. I'm getting better at cutting the angles once I know what they are, my problem is working them out in the first place. I'm not thick generally but I struggle with maths (failed CSE in 1987. Twice). At the moment it's all smaller pieces, measuring and measuring, cutting and taking pieces to the sanding disc and eyeballing, which kind of works to get the angles if I use a million screws to true it all up. Doesn't feel very elegant but I'm learning, which feels good. Cheers!

@@theswime945 I failed everything at school especially maths. I really struggle with anything involving numbers, angles, measurements so you're not alone. The mitre saw protractor is great if you need to find what an angle is. If you're not sure what the angle is then I can't be of any assistance lol. Like you I don't consider myself stupid but I definitely feel stupid at times. Stick with it mate

There is a mitre bar that's sold on Etsy that fits the drillpro/WNEW mitre gauge for the rage 5. However I must say that for me I couldn't get it to be square so naturally all the angles are also off. This could be a issue with my own stupidity, or the gauge but until I can test it on my mates normal mitre slotted saw I'm gonna go with the printed bar being wrong. I had bought the same bar for the standard mitre gauge which is fine. And all I've ended up doing is sticking the fence of the WNEW on that gauge.
