Its a beautiful tyre. I purchased a set today but sketchy as they're so new and not broken in
You should be okay don’t worry about breaking them in, they don’t use silicon release agent in the tyre manufacturers moulds anymore

In my 46years of riding (since I was 10years old) I have learned that if you have anything on your tyre that’s a problem or concern to you like chain lube etc then, believe it or not speed is your friend here because a low speed bend could give a bad sideways slide but at high speed, the contamination is scrubbed off so fast that you will never notice any loss of traction. So as you lean over for a fast bend on a good road surface the tyre will have rotated many many times cleaning it in a fraction of a second. Obviously, don’t put the thing under too much load with power or breaking at the same time. hope this help you/others😃👍
@@King-Arthur-The-First Oh brilliant, as a new rider to hear a bit of valuable advise directly from an experienced rider such as yourself really makes the community a bit more enjoyable and adds to the appeal of riding and the fun of starting this wonderful hobbie.
Before i read your last comment I was totally going to stay far away from highways for the first 100miles or so my logic being someone told me and I didnt want to wash out at those speeds, opting rather to keep it around the city instead but I spose that can now be classed as a bit of misinformation perhaps.

I use a light grit sandpaper on new tires and just manually scrape them by hand before going out
Rosso 4 have taller profile than BStone S22 and bike is wierd but I read Pirelli recommends lower PSI (a LOT lower!) So when it finally dries out around here I will try these diablo rosso 4s again...but my initial test? did not go good .....vague bike did not want to be tossed around like it DID with S22s

I have a zx10R and live where it’s hot.. what PSI would you recommend?
Front: 30-25 psi hot and Rear: 25-28 psi hot. As recommended by Pirelli.
