    Torque is 70nm+90° for the big bolts and 40nm+45° for the three nuts. It is recommended that you change the bolts. Great video and greetings from Sweden.

      Thanks for your valuable input. I couldn't find the bolts on time, so I had to use the same ones. Thank you for watching my video. Now, I'm located in Sweden, so greetings from Stockholm.

    Is it okay to drive the car, if bushes are broken?
    I have a rapid, and bushes are broken. Can I drive the car there is only a noise coming when i move the steering to the extreme right or left

    • @FaaizAnsari
      @FaaizAnsari  Před 2 lety

      It is ok to drive if needed and sometimes if the bushes are extremely bad state then even the tyres can go bad. But what I suggest is to change it as it will give your car good ride comfort.

    how successful are those Bush compared to original ones?durability

    • @FaaizAnsari
      @FaaizAnsari  Před 2 lety

      They are not successful at all in any sense. The bushes which I used in this video are from vika, a Chinese company. They look good and come well packaged, but are of bad quality in long run. I would suggest you to get german ones like febi, meyle, lemforder or the ones from vwag. The vika bushes only lasted me a year. The price difference between vika and the German ones are very less. So it is not worth spending time and money on vika bushes.

    Hi Faaiz, I do need to change those bushes. WHich brand you suggest and where can I get them ? (Skoda service center is quoting 9k just for the bushes )

    • @FaaizAnsari
      @FaaizAnsari  Před 2 lety

      Buy only brand like febi, swag, TRW, myle and lemforder don't go and get cheap ones from vika and other Chinese brands. I have put vika in this video and it's only lasted 10k km and 8 months. Later I had to change it and got lemforder. You can get it from boodmo or even your local spare parts shop the reason skoda is quoting high is may be due to high labour costs. The parts are relatively cheap.

      Start with basics by checking the alignment and then check for any damage in suspension component.

    Brother what's the cost difference and is that possible to get these bushes??

    • @FaaizAnsari
      @FaaizAnsari  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes it's possible it's easily available in local market. Make sure you don't buy the Chinese vika brand as they break fast. It's better to go with german brand bushes like myle, febi or lemforder.
