    Great explanation and demonstration of how to use all of the tools. Respect that you don't cut out any of the struggling or other challenges you run into on the way!

    420k miles on the clock is impressive!
    I am on mine 6th or 7th sharan now,61 plate as yours,one thing I miss massively is electronic front window.
    Condensation wont let u go in the morning for a few minutes.
    Even though of retrofitting it but the costs of window replacement itself cooled me down😂
    Happy motoring and hello from Peterborough.

    Good video. Same as the touran. Another 10min job that's probably going to end up taking me 2hours a grinder and a lot of swearing 😂 120k miles never changed. Hmm.

      @wawayltd  Před rokem +1

      Do you think it took me 10 minutes to film? 😁

    • @v3nom298
      @v3nom298 Před rokem

      @WheelsAndMotors definitely not, 🤣 it's a job I would expect to take me 10mins though, but probably end up taking hours as they have never been done. Changed the drop link stabiliser bars in 10mins. Was pleasently surprised my gun undid them without any spinning, I'm debating if I should get new track rod ends and the other 2 bushes. As it's all pretty tired looking. Not sure how much longer they are going to last and don't fancy having to strip it down multiple times. Want a job? 🤣

    Good day and thank you for an excellent video. Have you done a Passat 2008 Diesel Front Lower suspension arm (Driver's side) I believe I would have to release the subframe and lever it from the body to enable the removal of the front swivel bolt.

    did you replace the driveshaft bolt? struggling to find one near me so thinking of re-using this one, but there torque bolts... whats your thoughts?

    • @wawayltd
      @wawayltd  Před 5 měsíci +1

      They are pretty tight on VW's. Weirdly on Ford Galaxy, it's only 13mm bold with a torque of 20Nm.
      I don't know, I don't normally replace it, unless it's part of some kit. However, I'm not a mechanic either 😉

    hi you said dont take the hub bolt out just make it loose then you went and took it out i dont understand can you explaine please

    • @wawayltd
      @wawayltd  Před rokem

      I'm saying - if you do it on your own (no one to press the brakes), and you don't have a power tool, then the only way to undo it is while the car is on a ground with parking brake applied - just make it loose, don't take it out because there is a risk of damaging bearing, obviously when you raise the car - take it out, otherwise you won't be able to remove ball joint nut.

    Hello my friend. I have a problem. After 100km speed i hear a noice like bass from the right side until 115km and when I speed up 120km the noice disappear. I thought it was the wheel bearing, I changed but the nooce still. I changed and tires because that was bad the noice still.
    Bass after 100km until 110km.
    Can be some bracket from engine? Thanks

    • @wawayltd
      @wawayltd  Před 2 lety +2

      Sorry, just discovered your comment. To me it sounds like a bearing. Don't know... Maybe bearing on the other wheel?
