The Greeks didn't count verses
@@muskyoxes they knew Pi. Many Jews spoke Greek as their first language. then in 1551, Stephanus published a Greek and Latin edition of the bible divided into separate verses. The verse divisions still in use today, reveal the math the greeks knew about. stephanus was a french mason and with the help of king James, they really mashed it up. shakespeare concurs
I like professor Gurry, but why does he have to say “right” every ten seconds?
One objection i might make to "it doesn't matter which translation you read" is when you get one of those male chauvinist ones that inject "he" and "him" in hundreds of places where they don't occur in the Greek. It saturates casual reading
