    Great ideas. Love your diy washi/ribbon holder. I purchased a while back a 4 drawer washi holder. I bought it at Michael’s with a coupon. It works wonders and does not take up too much space. However before I bought that I was using a paper towel holder. It worked really good until I saw a bunch of washi tape on sale for pennies. That’s when I bought the holder. I have to say. If I hadn’t bought the drawers I would have made this to hold them. Thank you for sharing

      Another tip is to get the labels off of PVC pipe just use a fine grain sandpaper and sort of erase it. I tried a bunch of different removers and nothing else worked as well as sandpaper.

    Great idea Norrine. If you use a larger dowel, one the size of the T, you still should be able to move them and the pipe with the tape will not droop.

  • @twyla2575
    @twyla2575 Před 2 lety +1

    This is great, easy to make and has the visual impact of organized beauty. Suggestion: consider inserting spacers between PVC T- joints so they pivot on the spacers not the other joints. I'm thinking maybe washers if the holes are big enuf for the wooden dowel.

    This is a great idea! I may try this one, it would also make a great way to store all the various different kinds of tape I keep out in the garage.
    I was thinking if you add caps to the ends of you pvc pipes, it would give it a bit if a finished look, plus would help keep the tape from sliding off when you pull that section out. You could also add a little wood bead to the top of your wood dowel. Anyone who has a pocket hole jig available, this would be a great time to use it...you can get those corners nice and square!

      @@TheCraftyOrganizer do you have ideas for tools? Sander, dremels, uv lights, hammer, dremel bits, heat gun, glue guns, engraver, screwdriver sets, wood burner etc. I have all mine just crammed into two clear totes, but I'd like a way to have them out and handy. I'd use them more often if I could get to them without lifting heavy totes.

    If you put some foam core( glued) just a slice. Behind the pvc maybe would keep it from swinging all the way to the other side. Hope I explained well. 😁

    You really are clever! However the dowel method drives me nuts. The washi or ribbon I want is at the bottom end and I am too lazy, scattered or undeceive to deal with taking them all off to get to the one I want. I hope that made sense. I did really like the wax paper box idea. I am still looking for punch storage. What I have found on line and Pinterest are either just storage not organized, or the punches are all one brand and shape. My stickers are a work in progress. The system you shared a while back with the file folders I can see working out eventually. My problem is I have a LOT of washi, ribbon, punches, and stickers. I am so grateful you are here, and that you get the pain, depression, anxiety, merry go-round, and how paralyzing it all can be. Thank you!!
